Sorry if there was already a recent thread about this, new to forums did my best to look and could not find much. Just wondering for anyone in the 650-750rwhp range what tires your running, how they hook, and what suspension mods you recommend?

I don't plan on drag racing the car at all, just some roll racing and spirited highway driving, and rarely a pull from a red light.

Does anyone have experience with the NT05 305/35/19s?

definitely want to get a radial: et street ss since you want to go 19s. it also has pretty good street manners. quite the expensive tire however.

be careful in the rain as with an radial use common sense.

I was 750 on the whipple set up with 305/35/19 et street r's and was able to hook in 2nd at 40...

One thing to keep in mind when considering traction is a larger diameter tire will have better traction than a smaller diameter tire of the same width. Larger contact patch (measured front to back on the flat portion of the tire making contact with the surface), and less torque multiplication compared to smaller dia. tires. So, resist the urge to go too low a profile. For comparison, 305/35/19 is about 1/4" smaller in dia. than 275/40/19 (stock PP1 rear tire size).

The best drag radial for overall street use that gives you grip, much better handling than a MT ET Street SS and is not a white knuckled drive in the rain is the new Nitto 555RII.

I plan on running the Nitro 555Rll, I know they will be a world's difference from the G2's. G2's suck with stock HP and I read rave reviews about them before I bought them.

Important piece of information to add is what rear gear do you have?

I'm still on stock DS HS and Axels, as long as I'm not launching the car I should be fine with a radial right?

I'm in that power range , 305/30/20 nt05 , hooks good . Rear suspension mods are steeda cradle lock outs , axle lock outs , sub frame connectors , bmr vertical links , shock mounts , eibach sport lines , and to tie it all together viking crusader shocks . Daily car and doesn't see the track .

As soon as I get my Procharger tuning drivability issues sorted out, I am going with the 555R2's.

The Hellcat guys seem to be pretty happy with them. They mostly hook on the street with the huge torque those Hemi's make.

I would think a 650 - 750 whp boosted Coyote should do fine.

I wouldn't like NT05 if caught in rain. Check out their 555r2. Streetable DR that can hook power but still handle dd and rain.

I was told that I should stay away from a radial on stock DS HS and Axels, would I be fine to run a street radial as long as I'm not launching the car?
