are the shifts noticeably shorter?
Just installed mine- the shifts are definitely noticeably shorter.

About to put the car up and install the Steeda bushings now. Will post pics and a full review once that is done!

So far though, install was very simple. Took about 20 mins and is very easy. Love the feel and the throw of it!

Mine is out for delivery today. Won't be here before I leave for work. So I'll be installing when I get home. I started some prep and took the shift boot off and rubber boot. I am not gonna lie, I was really nervous I was gonna break the trim ring like others have posted about. My butthole puckered up tight when it finally popped off after the front clips coming undone

You'll notice NVH from the transmission mount bushing. Cut a big hole in the middle of it or remove the center completely. The shifter bushing/bracket didn't give me any added NVH. I did the shifter bracket first, then a week later did the trans bushing. I'm going to take it out and cut more out of it. This shifter with those two parts is awesome.

Just got back from a little test drive with the shifter. Awesome product- I couldn't be happier with it. The shifter throw is great; noticeably shorter and much more firm. Hand placement is MUCH more comfortable over stock. Combining this with Steeda's trans mount bushing and billet shifter bracket made it a lot more solid eliminated all of the spongy feeling it use to have. There's a little more NVH, but I don't think it's that bad. Doesn't radiate through the cabin and isn't that apparent. Honestly, it's less than I expected. Pairing this with the Amsoil fluid swap I did, it's a whole new shifting experience. Overall, performance with this is better than I expected, and has eliminated any remaining desire to go MGW/Barton.

No gap between the knob and the shifter. It could actually tighten down more, though... just wouldn't line up.

Hey Boomba , the installer tool is on its way back. Worked fantastic.

The install was very easy, cannot complain about anything.
I love the way the shifter is now, the shift throw is equivalent to a MGW throw distance now (compared to my buddys car with mgw). Short enough now to be happy, not too short. I love how its down lower because it feels more like effortless shifting when cruising through town. I had to give the shifter a good solid test with a couple speed shifts and a couple power shifts and there are NO problems what so ever with the quick shifts or power shifts. It actually feels much better now and less slop in the shifter. This is without the blowfish bracket. I feel without the blowfish it is still very good but with the blowfish it will make the shifter just about flawless now! Could not be happier. Anyone who is debating on buying this shifter will not feel unsatisfied after the install, i do recommend highly!

Something doesn't look right about your shift boot.

Haha as long as you take it easy you should be good with not breaking clips! We can definitely understand why people would be a little nervous in removing the trim piece, though.

Awesome review! We really appreciate you taking the time to do the write-up. We're glad to hear that you are pleased with our shifter. Let us know if you end up going with the Blowfish bracket as well.

Thanks for sending the tool back promptly. You'll get your deposit back as soon as we get the tool.

Interesting, and people said there would never be a short shifter for the M-82 that didn't have to be installed from under the car.
Is it safe to say we did the impossible?

It's nice to see a part for the 2015's that doesn't cost an arm and a leg that solves a problem that Ford won't address. Very nice!

Now that there is an affordable performance solution to the shifter issues what is going to be done to address the problem people have with the clutch pedal sticking to the floor at higher RPM's?

Hey there, as far as the shift boot goes, you actually secured it too high up. There's a ridge lower on our shifter where you are meant to zip-tie the boot to from the inside. The video below in this post shows how it should appear. This will give you better access to reverse lockout. Let us know if you have any questions!

I made a review video to show everyone some of my thoughts on the shifter.

Thanks for the review! We appreciate the honesty and how thorough you were. Glad to hear you are liking the shifter! Do you mind if we distribute this anywhere?
