They tricked me didn't get car back today

If a CSM is already involved, the dealership needs to make it right. My dealership is going above and beyond not only acknowledging the rear glass issue, but also getting it fixed ASAP. No need to verify the fact that 98% of their current inventory shows no issues with the rear glass. If there is an obvious problem, it needs to be addressed immediately.just spoke to the regional CSR for my area. The dealership can compare vehicles to see if they have the same issue and if those cars do they can deny service to fix it. This was in regards to the rear window slope if anyone wants to bring that up. Not the biggest issue but still should be straight when delivered.
Getting my car back today after work for the hood and other panel adjustments. Hope they did a good job. The service department at the dealership I bought my car from is not impressing me, will be going somewhere else in the future for other in warranty needs.
:clap2:looking forward to having Ford Quality Control back on the assembly line for the 2016 model year cars. Why they did away with QC in 2015 I have no idea. I mean its so obvious with all of the reported issues on this thread. hahahahahahah
That is just crazy-nuts; that your CSR is passing the buck unto the dealer. In my case, it is Ford who authorized my repair. The dealer took the pics and forwarded them to corporate and got the green light in 2 business days. Getting a new glass installed along with replacing my Ceramic tint as well. Only complaint is my loaner, what a bucket LOL. All kidding aside I appreciate the fact we got a loaner.Wow wish I bought from your dealer and I spoke with the CSR on the phone today and she said it was up to the dealer to compare to other vehicles and determine if they feel it is a problem that needs to be fixed. For someone managing a whole territory she wasn't much help. I told her that is insane...if you notice more cars with the same issue you ignore it. Hope the cars don't have airbag issues.
Unfortunately, this should be a no-brainer. Be it their first ever Ford or multiples. Too many people with issues falling through the cracks.:tsk:Well I'm glad to see some are getting good service.
I would disagree with you on the majority of cars having no rear glass alignment issues. If a CSM is already involved, the dealership needs to make it right. More prevalent on Job 1 & some Job 2 cars. Disagree all you want but those are whats showing up at the dealerships here in SoCal. The LA area alone is a huge car culture; hardly are we noobs on the subjectI would disagree with you on the majority of cars having no rear glass alignment issues.
Again, I am personally all too aware of that issue. If you look at the reflection of the roof-mounted brake light, it appears to be thicker on the left side than the right. The reflection magnifies the problem. You can also see where the edge of the glass meets the white LED plastic and the left side is lower than the right.
Some cars are much better than others, but I would bet that 98% of the cars have the problems to a greater or lesser degree.
Unless Ford has come up with a shim or some other fix, in which case I would be interested in obtaining one, to level my window.
I've been to the dealer twice for issues including the rear window. A Ford engineer said it was within company acceptance. What bull shit. I'll never buy another Ford again. They made some of my body panel issues better but not perfect. When I get a chance I'm going to go to my regular Ford dealer that has a body shop on premises. The only problem is they're open Mon thru Fri 9:00-5:00. I've been taking it to the dealer where I bought the car from, which is an hour from me. I really should have just been patient and waited until I found one closer to me. Maybe it wouldn't have had issues. While mine are minor compared to some folks on this thread is still bugs me that Ford and dealer would not catch this before they sold the car. When I bought the car I never would dream that Ford would let a car out of the factory not put together properly. And I guess the dealer doesn't inspect the cars upon delivery. When I took delivery I was only looking for dings and scratches. It was only through these forums that I decided to fully inspect the car and find its flaws.wow i was just looking at this and my dealershiop called and said they spoke to ford again and got the rear glass approved to be fixed. They said they sent pictures this time to them and they approved the fix.
I'm glad that everything was able to be resolved, klumpikat; if you have any future concerns, let me know. But like in your situation, even with the inconveniences, Ford did fix the problem. My dealership was also awesome and very proactive during the whole mess. An official fix (TSB) was released and replacement parts were manufactured. I am now a satisfied customer and (so far) would consider another Ford product in the future.

When you're able to get to your regular dealer for a second opinion, send me a heads up via PM. I'll gather some info and get this escalated. The CSM will work with you and the dealer to help resolve.I've been to the dealer twice for issues including the rear window. A Ford engineer said it was within company acceptance. What bull shit. Although we're not quite there yet, I'm happy to hear there's been progress. Let me know if you need me.Got the car back yesterday after work. Hood looks much better, the gap by the headlight is gone, the rear glass has been ordered. The rear bumper needs to be redone it is not flush and the guy at ford said they will take car of it when they do the rear glass. The saga continues but progress is being made.
