Yes, the 18 manifold is absolutely worth it
That's good too know. You and I have about the same WHP, but I still have the '17 manifold. Did you lock out the CMCV on the '18?

The Lund has been good. I had some knock based on the charts (we have shitty 91 octane here, no e85 etc) .. John looked at the charts and recommended running octane booster on track days.

He said otherwise I wont have an issue as the tune/ecu will pull timing and adjust.

Another reason why I wonder if I will see enough gains with a different manifold.
You will. It makes the powerband on track even better. The power drop off after 6750 on the stock manifold is significant. On the 18 it's around 7200, with a higher peak, but also the drop off is much flatter. It's a very noticeable thing in the car. The free revving feeling of the coyote is dialed up a bunch.

Awesome. Do you think it will be effective with my PMAS and the retrofit kit?

Yep I totally agree. There is an added rush once you get over 5000 rpm and it carries through to 7500 rpm. It's very fun and was beneficial to me at the track. Some times I needed the extra RPM. I touched 8K a couple of times just to time my upshift.

I decided to do something I'd been toying with for a while, but if it never happened, I would've been happy. I was able to trade my Corsa Sport catback for a Borla ATAK catback locally. I will say this: there is nothing wrong with the Corsa Sport. It is an amazing exhaust and one that I would recommend highly. I was yearning for a slight uptick in growl/bass without losing the high RPM scream. The ATAK delivers on this. It's probably just a smidge louder at WOT than I want, but it's not as loud as the Xtreme...roughly halfway between the Sport and Xtreme. Overall I'm really happy with it, and just like Corsa, the ATAK delivers absolutely zero drone.

Is your trim painted to match? If so, looks great! How much did that run you if you don't mind me asking? I have a Guard car as well.

Taking a break from this place for a while. I'll respond to PMs but won't be active. Friends, you know how to get ahold of me other ways.

Curious what made you go with those over some lighter options you've been somewhat interested in previously? Certainly one of the easier ones to keep clean!

They are good wheels. Flow formed and light.

What tire size are you going with ?

They're in the same ballpark on weight as anything else that's remotely affordable, and I got a really good deal. Also they'll definitely be easy to clean!

19x11 et50 all four corners with 305/30R19 RE71R

the RE71 are more of an autocross tire than a lapping tire unless it's really cool out. Am I mistaken?

Yes, definitely an autocross and TT tire mostly, which is what I focus on.

I have the same rim in 19x10 sq. wearing 285/35/19's 35's for comfort & look's as I am dropped. You notice the difference in rolling weight on your butt dyno too. Graphite or black or bronze?
