Hey guys pulling the trigger on some new wheels does anyonevknow who might sell black valves stems for our car that are compatible with the tpm sensor? I dont think chrome stems on a set of black satin wheels will look good.

Note that the valve stem is part of the TPMS. It is one integral unit. The OEM TPMS are metal stemmed. I am not sure the black rubber (pull it in the hole until it pops/seats) will mount the same way as the original ones. The originals are a threaded stem with o-rings on either side. Requires a 40 in-lb torque.

Sadly leaned more about these than I wanted when mine were not tight from the factory and left me stranded on the side of the road on my very first drive. Thankfully I stopped quickly and did not ruin the tires or the CF wheels.

Rock Auto sells both types for the GT350, but the black ones are rubber stems. I had those originally on my 6G wheels and a TPMS warning would flash on screen after the tires warmed up. After reading Tomster's post about high tire temps on the track... I would never use or buy the rubber ones again.

Just paint the metal ones black.
