I changed my mt82 oil this weekend and im amazed by the results. I wasnt expecting such a big improvement! I was actually kinda doubtful about this product but i was so wrong.
I have a quick question. Is my shifting this smooth because the fluid is new? Did you guys noticed any decrease in smoothness over time? I want it to shift this way forever lol
Any fluid will break down over time but Sycro Shift II shoukd maintain most of its properties for quite some time. There are too many factors to give time or mileage estimates. It really depends on the car and use.

We are thrilled that you had such are large improvement. The car being more enjoyable to drive is the great thing about this fluid.

so what weight should. or be ideal for me im in the northeast. summers are pretty warm and winters some can get cold but not crazy.. i have a manual trans 3:55 rear
You can run either the 75W-90 or the 75W-140 without issue. They both will react basically the same in the cold weather. It is really just a personal choice.

Just ordered the tranny kit for my 2016 - should make a good improvement along with the Tri-Ax that will soon be going in.

Ordered the transmission kit as well! Hoping it arrives on Friday, so I can swap the oil this weekend.

Looking forward to some buttery smooth shifts!

EDIT: I received a tracking number about an hour later of my purchase. You guys rock!

Just ordered the MT-82 kit since I decided to prematurely change my oil to a higher weight now that I have the Whipple on it. Looking forward to seeing how this differs from my RP fluid!

I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Others have commented that they have noticed a difference going from Amsoil or Royal Purple to BG. I drove a car to compare Royal Purple to my stock fluid to see if I wanted to make the change. I did notice a difference. However, after reading some of the earlier reviews of the BG fluid I decided to give it a try instead. I can now say that my car shifts better than the one I drove with the Royal Purple.

Edited my post, put AMSOIL (which is in the oil and diff) instead of RP which is what is actually in the tranny  Hard keeping track of fluids lol. I am definitely looking forward to it though

Update: The installation of the MGW race spec was a huge improvement to the MT82, BUT, adding the BG fluid made it buttery smooth. I honestly didn't think fluid would make a feel'able difference, but WOW, it did. Very impressive stuff!

Kit from Optimum with instructions made it super simple. Pump and pre marked cup with how much should be left over made install a breeze. Thanks BG for an unreal product and Optimum for packaging it up to make our lives easier!:clap2:
Decided to pull the trigger on the rear end fluid, went with 75W-140 (car will see the track soon), order just placed!

Went ahead and ordered the tranny fluid from Optimum.

My car has about 600 miles on it right now. Should I wait until 1000 miles or more to swap the tranny fluid? Not sure how much wear will occur during break in, but maybe it would better to leave the stock fluid in "catch" the extra gunk.

Did mine Friday night after the Tri-Ax install. Surprising the tranny fluid change makes such a big difference in noise and smooth operation, WORTH every penny!

I hit the track once or twice a year but the temps here reach 130* in summer. Was thinking of going with the 75W140 purely because of that. Do you think that's a wise move?

Same here, these folks ship EXTREMELY fast. Ordered Wednesday afternoon, at my door Friday care of USPS Priority 2-day. Same experience with both orders from them, A+.

Put in the diff fluid yesterday. Once again like the tranny fluid kit, the diff kit with pump and dipstick made it childs play. Did about 20 gentle miles to let it work itself in. Very little trace of metal specs on drain plug after 3K miles. No additional smoothness to report, but we'll see after a few drives. Thanks again Optimum!

Yes, just because it runs so hot on the street.
