I have a 2019 A10 GT with some simple bolt-on mods. I have a JLT CAI, Kooks catless 1-7/8 headers, MBRP cat back, and a custom e85 tune for power mods. Im looking at porting my IM and getting IMRC lockouts. What else can you do to carry power better past 7k rpm. It seems to drop off a solid 18-22 whp from 7k to 7.5k rpm. Will porting the manifold help carry the power better and is there any other mods that will give a benefit in carrying that power? I am getting some suspension and subframe mods soon and want to put down decent na power. Im happy with my peak HP, its the power past 7k.

A Cobra Jet manifold and heavy duty valve springs will allow you to spin it much higher with ease.
CJ manifold is way out of my price range as I'd rather put that money into a hellion kit. I haven't heard anything about the valve springs though. Ill definitely look into that.

I hear you. All of it is expensive IMO, but you’re right the CJ manifold and especially a turbo setup is gonna really be through the roof. I learned that myself when I started down that road. It’s too late for me to turn back now though.

Valve springs will certainly help prevent valve float. While you’re in there, a good set of high revving cams will also be good idea.

GT350 manifold will carry a little further and be cheaper than a cobrajet.

A cheaper option would be a Holley Lo or HI Ram intake manifold. I paid $850 for my Lo Ram. But I have seen them for in the $700 range too. Check this out for comparison purposes.

In many applications,
a Holley Lo-Ram can flow as well as or better than a Cobra Jet manifold, especially when discussing peak horsepower. However, the best choice depends on your specific engine build, performance goals, and desired powerband.
Here is a detailed comparison of the two manifolds for the Coyote 5.0L platform, for which both are common upgrades.
Feature Holley Ultra Lo-RamFord Performance Cobra Jet
Airflow and powerbandDesigned to improve the mid-to-high RPM powerband. Can deliver more peak horsepower and extend the powerband to higher RPMs compared to a Cobra Jet manifold. Some tests show similar performance to or slightly better performance than a ported Cobra Jet.Known for excellent performance in the 7,000–8,000 RPM range, but it may have a slightly lower peak horsepower than a Holley Hi-Ram (and potentially a Lo-Ram).
Hood clearanceHas a very low-profile design that clears all 2011–2023 Mustang hoods, making it an excellent "stealth" option. It is shorter in height and length than the Cobra Jet manifold. Can be a tight fit on some vehicles, especially 2015+ Mustangs, and may require hood clearancing or an aftermarket hood.
Versatility and modificationsBuilt with a durable cast-aluminum construction that is better suited for boosted (supercharged or turbocharged) applications and nitrous than the composite Cobra Jet. The modular design with a two-piece top allows for intercoolers or easier porting access.Constructed from a lightweight composite material. While it can be ported for improved airflow, the composite material is less ideal for certain forced induction setups.
CostGenerally more affordable than the Cobra Jet manifold.More expensive, especially when purchasing an already ported version.

You want to see a dyno of both intakes back to back...picking up a little bit after 7k isn't really worth killing the rest of the power band

Porting not really worth it for the cost. You're not changing the runner length so you're not changing the RPM you make power at (you're only increasing airflow like...a tiny tiny percent)

Keep saving for the Hellion
