Best way to sell local

***This isn't a for sale ad. Yes, I'm selling but I'm looking for advice on how to sell to local folks.***

I have some parts I want to sell but they are almost all too big to ship (at least not economically). Yard sales almost never work as these are very specific parts. Forum is bad because almost everyone wants to have them shipped. Is there a good place to sell these where there are S550 folks looking to buy parts? If it makes a difference, I'm in central Texas (also posted in the local page for advice).

Stuff I'm selling (so you can see why I don't want to ship):

Set of MMR wheels
Anderson Composites GT500 bumper and fenders
Verus Engineering diffuser
Rear differential (3.15)
Stock manifolds with cats
Sway bars (Ford and Steeda)

I've seen several car shows/rallys with a swap meet area. Used to be especially popular with motorcycle meets but I've seen them at car events too.
And there's always FB Marketplace. And is Craigslist still a thing?

Agree with FB Marketplace and Craigslist. Any local car groups in your area that have a social media presence? If you’re able, going to car meets/events and talking to folks can help too

Honestly I’d list them here too. Just make sure to state that you don’t want to ship due to the size of the items. Might take a little while but list them in multiple places at one time.

I’ve had good luck using CL..I sold my previous Mustang to a Ford dealer who saw my ad on Craigslist…I’ve also sold several motorcycles using Craigslist….No experience with FB marketplace other then looking.

I guess Craigslist is like Kijiji here in Canada. I've used both FB Marketplace and Kijiji and have sold all kinds of Mustang related stuff (stock wheels/tires, my old rear NT555 G2 tires, tail lights etc).

You will have to put up with the "Would you take (GIVES A NUMBER HALF OF WHAT YOUR ASKING IS)?" type stuff but that is the name of the game. Free platforms tend to attrack cheap people.

And that is what I'm dealing with. Either they have no idea what these parts are or they are just immature/inexperienced buyers. It is getting annoying and I'm about to just toss them into a dumpster and call it a day.

The wheels are worth trying to sell. Very little market for the rest.
