I originally bought a set of aftermarket wheels on sale, all 20x8.5. Today I saw the same wheel but 20x10 on sale for a pretty great price, which makes me very tempted to buy them for the rear so I can run a staggered setup, but how difficult is to sell just two wheels? I just don't want to be stuck with two wheels for however long, if anyone has had a similar experience let me know the best way to go about it or how it went.

Selling wheels or tires can often be a hit or miss. Often it takes waiting until the person comes along that needs exactly what you are selling. It took me a year to sell my OE wheels/tires with 500 miles on them. I can imagine selling two aftermarket wheels will be a hard sell......unless it just happens someone is looking for them.

why not buy 4x of the 10 instead of persisting with skinny-ass 8.5 fronts? That way you can sell the 8.5 as a set. Someone planning to run winter/snow would probably be interested.

I agree 100 percent. Plus you can then either run all four of the same size tires (square) or go for the staggered with perhaps a 285 in the rear and 265 or 275 in the front.

I was considering that but I don't need anything crazy, I was planning on running 255 in the front and 285 in the rear which I think would give me plenty of traction considering the car is NA and I don't plan on boosting it. The car is a fun weekend/nice weather driver for me and might track it or take it to the drag strip every once in a blue moon.

Sounds like a good plan.

Buying 4 wheels and tires and then selling the other four as a set of staggered wheels might be the best way to off load them. You could end up paying a good deal more doing it that way. You're best going in with someone that is willing to purchase the other 2 new wheels and tires along with getting your old ones at a slight discount or something.

I personally have 20x10.5's on the back with 315/30/20's on them. If I was to do it over again I would get 305's on the rear. Less hassle fitment wise that way.
