Your engine mod ideas + a catted downpipe should hit the power numbers with no issue. Good tires (Michelin are good, but expensive. Firestone Indy's are also popular) are always a positive. The Steeda kit you mentioned should help hook up off the line and won't change ride.

In general, I think there's a lot of good ideas here, you just have to think about how far you want to go down the bunny hole.
Gotcha. I don't want to go too far down because I feel I wouldn't be able to get back up. Just want to get these mods because they are affordable for me to get and would provide a good benefit without totally changing the car. Not really looking into bigger turbos or built blocks.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Check the ratings on Tire Rack.
Do you think there would be a difference in 0-60 or drag times if I get the 235-50R18 pilot sports 4s, versus my stock 235-50R18 Goodyear f1 all seasons?

good god man. Is there some award for "most inappropriate choice of wheels+tires" at your strip?
You might as well run $100 chinese tires for all the good it'll do.

You can find 9.5 or 10 wide wheels for $150 or less.

Can you recommend a wheel and tire setup for me?

For daily driving or road courses in Florida the Pilot Sport 4S's will be perfect. Now that you mention the drag strip you'll want dedicated rear wheel/tires for the strip. I don't drag race so someone else can chime in.

just look at bbwheels.com and ebay, tirerack and you'll have many dozens to choose from. I've got several sets of wheels still NIB that I need to re-list. Motegi MR137 18x9.5, TSW Hockenheim-S 19x9.5, SVE GT7 19x10/11, Centerline SM1 670 19x9.5/10.5 etc.

Tirerack had a sale on FF1 wheels a few weeks ago. I picked up a set of 19x10 for $400.

just an example:

You don't need to add the Drive shaft safety loop as that's for very high horsepower and you may want to consider the BMR lock out kit. It's inexpensive and will get rid of 80% of the wheel hop alone.

Understood. The BMR kit looks good. I unfortunately have to use a drive shaft safety loop at one of my local drag strips. I go to Bradenton Motorsports Park, and they have a rule that if you run 13.99 or faster you need a driveshaft safety loop and “Snell” rated helmet.

Go with a intercooler, downpipe, tune, full exhaust, drop in green filter, and a WGA. Gut the PCV and run a dual valve catch can to it also. I would pick a tuner that tunes a lot of these cars. Preferably Lund Racing. Send me a message if you have any Ecoboost Mustang questions I've done up a few of them.

Do you think that the “BMR TCA048B Vertical Links with Polyurethane Bushings” would also help along side the BMr lockout kit? I have some extra money to spend and I was just wondering if it’s worth it to get as well.

OOPS! I didn't know that! Guess I got lucky with tech last year! Heading back to Bradenton in March... Need to add a safety loop to my list of mods!!
