I think Adam's kit is bolt on, though if you want to utilize the failsafe function (which I highly recommend, it can save your motor if the fluid runs out or something goes wrong with the kit electrically) you have to tap into at least one wire. I think it would be a good idea to take advantage of the failsafe protection, but you don't absolutely have to.

Tune+'s kit uses an off the shelf AEM kit with custom mounting brackets and a failsafe. All water/meth kits will require wiring into the car.

Unfortunately with any failsafe kit, you are going to need to tap into some sort of wire to give the controller the ability to alter the timing and A/F ratio if you ever run out of liquid. its kind of tedious and scary tapping into stock wires. but I promise you that it is so much easier to install a failsafe then taking the chance of running dry and seriously damaging your engine.

There are so many threads going into detail along this topic. but to be safe you will need to build your motor from the ground up. its the safest thing to do to assure that you are reliable at that horsepower. Adam at Tune+ has put down something ridiculous on a stock block. I think its something like 570. but there is no way that that block would hold out for too long. plus he is one of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to the ecoboost platforms.

Long story short if i want to stay with my stock turbo one way to reach its full potential will be adding a Water Methanol injection kit after that maybe a wastegate actuator and a BOV. If I'm looking to get more hp and torque i would have to replace the stock turbo. and all my current mods will not be reusable for the new turbo because I would have to change swap some parts out? Like downpipe, intercooler, etc. KadenW23 PewterCam

The Vargas stage 2 is a direct bolt in replacement that would use all your existing parts. The other turbo upgrade kits would come with their own specific charge pipe, Cai, and DP.

Thanks for the suggestion Jasber BlackBoostedStang yea i was thinking the same thing about the wastegate but what about Water Methanol injection? How safe is it to install them?
After I get my intercooler and CAI, that'll probably be next in line. Adam has a great install video on his site.

Yea ima probably going to get the Wastegate actuator, spark plugs, and a BOV for now. The meth kit is not the right mod for me due to my car being a daily driver. I will be taking a look at the vargas turbo upgrade next but gotta save up for that lol
