Battery Cover and Hood Alignment

I got my battery replaced at the local Ford dealership right before I went on vacation for a week.

I took the BULLITT out today for a bath and noticed two peculiar things. One, my hood alignment appears to be off since I know they have to manipulate the Ford Performance hood struts to access the battery compartment, and secondly the dealership didn't reattach the battery terminal cover.

It's sloppy work but does a detached battery cover present any serious issue for now. I will call them tomorrow to voice my dissatisfaction. The other issue (I realize photos are hard to judge) does the gap in the hood look obvious on the passenger (battery) side?

I've had my hood off and on lately for a hood vents project. So that means loosening the 4 bolts at the hinges to make adjustments. Put blue tape around them to mark your starting position. You can check the positioning at the corners for left right front back etc.

If you are just trying to match the gaps then it is easier to move a fender in or out a little. There are 3 painted bolts for doing that.
