The Service Manager just called, genuine concern and very apologetic. She wants the car back for a proper load test, clearly there’s an issue and she is determined to find and eliminate it. This should have been done properly the first time but I know things don’t always go the way they should. I will update after my next appointment.

So just out of nowhere , the dealership service manager, out of the blue, after sending you away, called with apologies , asking you to come back?
W/no prompting by you at all?

No no! I emailed the service manager, then she called me. I’ve since called Ford Canada because the car is again very dead. More apologies, nothing can be done until June 29. Abysmal service IMHO.

( THATS A REAL POSITION, & ONLY 1 REAL, LIVING BREATHING PERSON, per dealership)

@ SAME TIME. Also ASK FOR DEALERSHIP OWNERS NAME, & VOICEMAIL box.

Leave messages with both,
@ 7am, & @ 4 pm, DAILY.

( i dont, personally do this,
cuz i get results on 1st ph call 90% of time,

but most others must!!, because they do not hav 40+ yrs of negotiating experience, to wrap up a problem in 5---... 10 min, tops)

Leave SHORT MESSAGES,
not outlining entire issue,

just THAT--

& its all just dumb luck of a moron who is lucky?

After we also got our new battery,
(they said 1st, must test bad to replace, haha, ssurrrre. Ok??!!) Bullchit.

Battery done, & Long before car left lot,
cuz u never buy a NEW CAR,
thats been on lot more than 4+ months ,
w/o getting a new battery. NEVER.

Seen too many bad 1's, to even dream of being scammed out if a $110+ part,
WHEN WE expect New BATTERY,
W/A NEW CAR PURCHASE.

(the most commonly failed part in automotive history, is the car battery.
We all know this, right?)

Sorry to hav wasted your time, and ours.
Especially ours.

Hopefully someday, someone, will read this,
and will listen, and then get exactly what they need, from there dealership.

No paperwork for our new battery,
but a pic of it could easily be taken,
but why?
Its clearly deaf ears these words are falling upon & any proof we provide is just affirmation to ourselves.

We spent our entire lives helping people.

Some so appreciated it, they've literally walked up to us, w/o any prompting,
and handed us a stack of $100 bills, litterally.
A client from Paradise Valley. Az, did just that.
Not mentioning his name. Nobody's business what he does w hard earned cash.

How many people can say that? That folks just give um money as thankyou for saving them a bunch to start with.

I can..on several occasions. Not just 1.

Did we give out way more value $$ in advice,
than we ever got bk in cash,
yeah, prolly like @ 0.05 cents an hour,
Lookin bk, when adding up the thousands and thousands over 30+ yrs helping people,
for free,
who later gave us, without handing them a bill,
or an invoice. A wadd of cash, & a thankyou.

All , Just because they realized the value of good sound advice. That ultimately saved them a lot of heartache and headaches.

As car was bought in mid May.
Chk is after I got wrk done,
& said, im gonna be fair, just give us $695 & im good. See, detailer didn't charge me the 695, that same work is included to color correct a paint job and prep for protection.

Could've prolly gotten double that, easily.
No effort to get the $700.
So $1400 would hav just tk some
"" actual negotiations "" for 5-10 minutes.

Comes out too about $3000 an hr, or $50 a minute, by our calculations.
@ our time invested.

$6k an hr, if i had pushed for a $1400 compensation.. but why be greedy??
.. never need to be greedy,
just be fair and equitable...

hell,
we can all do that every day, ??? Rite..$3/$6k hr?
just as we can ALL pay cash for a new $50k car

Strictly as an FYI, the dealer replaced my battery on Friday and all seems good. I’m disappointed that I had to boost the car pretty much every time I wanted to drive it (for the last 4 weeks) and 2 different Ford dealers told me there was nothing wrong with my battery. Also disappointed I had to eventually go absolutely ape-shit on them before they got their crap together and fixed the issue. It’s just not an approach I care to use but I got pushed beyond my “breaking point”. But all seems well now, fingers crossed. I’m back to loving this ride!!
