Well good I'm glad they redacted the "mistake"... I'm wondering if the "mistake" was a feeler for the market and if they got any real data from it.

Well, if you go to the ford website it clearly has a higher base price than before
showing base GT MSRP starting at $33,695 + $900 destination charge

I went into a local Ford dealer on 12/29 and got a price quote...
Mustang GT coupe premium-MSRP $36395
destination-$900

!advertising assessment-$600!

But they priced my spec'd GT at $1000 below invoice.

Does Ford have any track record for incentives or rebates or great financing in the spring?
Don't know if I should wait....

$1000 below invoice is a good price, but I guess this dealer likes to play games with that advertising assessment. Did you ask them what their "Doc fee" is?

Those are all things to negotiate away or just walk.

I do recall that $1,300 is the amount of gas guzzler tax on the gt350. Two possibilities I can think of are either they show gas guzzler tax as part of the base price on the website (it wasn't before on the gt350) and accidentally factored into all models, or 2016 requirements changed and the tax is applied to each model now.

So it's inferred in their communication. I am painfully aware that there is no Premium V-6...Ford raised rates on all Mustangs.
No, it's not, you're just inferring something incorrectly from what they very clearly stated.

I would wait. Last year was a little different with the whole new model but I'd expect at least 1k rebate or even up to 3k in some areas of the country. So still shoot for that 1000 under invoice and then minus whatever rebate there is.

The pricing seems to be corrected on the site now; same as before without the $1,300.

Also, they fixed if you check both PP and Premier trim, it shows the right dash trim now.

Sure now after everyone orders their cars Ford decides to fix it! Oh and how convenient that some dealers took advantage of the base price increase right before Christmas on accident of course and even the window sticker on some of the 12/21/15 build date ones show the extra $1300 increase!

One thing that I'm very thankful for is the change in the stock picture with the Prem. trim and the Per pack because I ordered that and did not want to loose my gauges!

Thanks for the update!

Anyone notice that pricing " accidents" are most always in the corporations/sellers favor? Hmmm!

Yep and always around the holidays when people are going to be buying more. Funny thing is how the base price increased and then Black Friday happened and then it was a $1300 decrease in price for Black Friday to make it the base price before! Lol good job Ford!
