Yeah, 91 octane is a REALLY crappy fuel.I'll go e85 for sure, wish i could go with lund but e85 tunning is not available with the ngauge for FI. By the way the group is MSA and there are like 2 s197 coyotes and 1 s550 coyote that have blew in the last couple months with FI and 91. I don't comfortable with any tuners in AZ
It's always a battle between customer vs tuner, as most customers have unrealistic expectations of what is "safe" on the stock motor. (Especially on fuel like 91 octane.)
They get caught up in online vendor marketing and dyno data, and get disappointed when their car does't make the same inflated dyno numbers. (Unicorn data as far as I'm concerned.)
With 91 octane, you've got to run low timing, as the cars will want to detonate when hot.
This means dialing the car back for safety, which makes for humble dyno numbers.
The moral of the story: If you've got E85 close by, spend the money on upgrading your fuel system and use it.
