C7 Z06's have a weird throttle hang when letting off the gas. It's horrible and I speculate that's what happened. I'm still trying to get used to it but there's all kinds of threads on the corvette forum about it.
My vote is c7 IF you have another car you can drive. I don't know if I could drive mine every day even if the weather permitted. It's low and hard to get in and out of. It ride much rougher than the mustang but performance absolutely blows the mustang away hands down and still gets better fuel...
A BRZ and stock SRT are not cars you should even be in the same hemisphere with...especially with a 10 speed auto. You sure you have a GT model? Not even trying be a dick but those are two bad losses.
Believe me...if you guys are wanting to get a new car, now is the time to do it. Wholesale values are through the roof. I am struggling to keep pre-owned on my lot. I'm paying damn near retail value just to buy cars to put out.
He stopped responding once I asked for a slip or video. He showed me a youtube video of some random guy dyno'ing his NA mustang and it showed like 530whp and said this is all you need to see...I just stopped responding...can't fix stupid
Nope, after thinking about it for awhile I went back and asked if it was 1/8th which he responded with a big fat no. And then he told me that no one knows how to drive these cars if they can't hit 10's with those mods. hahaha
He's literally fighting me on it. His response was that he put "an aluminum pulley on water pump and tension pulleys, 355 gears and 20 inch sticky tires". That is a direct ass quote :crackup::crackup:
I struggled to hit 10's with 640whp. But this guy figured it out for me... I actually need to go back to almost stock, put big ass street tires and tune it for 91 then I'll run a 10.80. Oh, then just throw on slicks and I'll hit 9's. It's easy guys...can't believe you haven't figured that out.
Well the time has come to let go of the Mustang. I decided I want to try out a Z06. I've had this since late 2016 and bought it with 4,000 miles on it. It now has just over 26,100 miles and will slowly go up as I drive on nice days. It has been my favorite car I've owned by far. It has the roush...
lots of stuff that could have come lose over time and are now rattling against exhaust or something. sounds like you ruled out gas with the boostane. i'd just be starting with all exhaust connections and go from there. hopefully it's something stupid.
Yup, that was my first set I tried after blowing through the stock Pirelli's. Tried the g2's and thought they were garbage too. Spun through 1st, 2nd and most of 3rd. Never really felt comfortable in those. Luckily I blew through the rears in 3100 miles so I was out of those quick. Indy's are...
