Average Build Time???

Just got my VIN and Window sticker yesterday.
Ordered on 11/2/15, invoice date on sticker is 12/7/15 and blend date in 12/14/15.
Where are you guys getting your ETA for delivery??

Ordered black GT with PP and red line on oct. 3rd. Confirmed build date of 11/11. Had an eta of 12/5 but it's still at the plant for some reason with no eta. Might of found one at another dealership near me that I could go pick up tomorrow. If you are impatient it might be better for you to search for the car via dealerships lots...unless it's a gt350r lol. Hope this helps and good luck.

Which for sure will change as Ford closes for Holidays doesn't it?

Wondering what the average build time has been so far on guys who have ordered a new Mustang! If I had to guess, I would think 8+ weeks?!? Let me know how long it took some of you!

If everything goes perfect, the norm is 6-8 weeks. However, at this time, I would go with 10-12 weeks. I’m happy to track it for you. Just PM me with your dealer’s name and order number when you place it.

Orders are scheduled based on the following criteria, Barry626:
- the priority code rating
- the dealer's allocation for each production week
- the ordered option content
- the receipt date
The receipt date is a factor when breaking ties for orders with the same priority code. Therefore, the date is the last factor.

They normally do, cyberbro. Waiting on some concrete dates at this time.

Is this from order to delivery or just production? I would assume that the lead time for production from welding the first body parts until passing quality check might take 2 weeks at maximum if not less.

Usually 8-12 weeks be patient some lucky few igot it earlier

Thanks for the reply. I figured it would be that long in total. I was just hoping to hear something from Ford saying yes we have your order lol. Just want to make sure I am waiting for 8-12 weeks for something that is being built.
