  1. Storing Mustang for winter

Hi Walt, I have a sesonal registration and my GT has to sit in the Garage from November to February. I take out the battery for charging (CTEK MSX 5.0) as I don't have electricity in the Garage. No changes on the tires or the fuel. To protect the car from dust I have an indoor car cover. I...
  2. 4th Luxemburg Mustang meeting Pictures!

The easiest way would be to adjust the speed with the cruise control. Assuming that the indicated speed is 3 km/h above the measured speed and at 90 km/h speed limit the Luxembourg Police gives you 3 km/h as well you should be fine if you set the cruise control not higher than 95 km/h. That's...
  3. 4th Luxemburg Mustang meeting Pictures!

Great event and a superb sunday :D Here are some of my impressions:
  4. Introduce yourself!!

Cool picture: with Pirelli pure summer tires (Perfromance Package) on snow. I suppose you're used to these conditions :-)
  5. 3rd Luxemburg Mustang event !!

It happend at Lipperscheid, N7 (Fridhaff-Hoscheid) on the 20th at 6.51 pm. The letter says that I have 45 days to pay starting from the day I received the letter.
  6. 3rd Luxemburg Mustang event !!

I didn't notice a flash but obviously they catched me. On a country road with speed limit 90 km/h they measured 98 km/h (makes sense as I usually set my cruise control 10 km/h higher than the limit). They subtracted 3 km/h for measurement uncertainty and voilá 95 km/h. In Germany this would not...
  7. 3rd Luxemburg Mustang event !!

Hi guys, also from my side a big thank you to the organizing team. You did a brilliant job! My wife was sceptical on the way to Luxemburg. On the way back she already looked forward for the 2018 event :clap2: Best regards, Günther
  8. RUBY RED S550 MUSTANG Thread

Hi all from Bonn, Germany. It is now cherry blossom and this place forms a roof of these. Thought it would look not bad with the ruby red Mustang.
  9. Introduce yourself!!

As far as I know these clear glass tail lights are not only for Europe but for many if not all official Ford export markets. I've seen one in Shanghai last year and the Aussies also have these tail lights. Funny that some of you US Mustang owners want to mod to the export tail lights while some...
  10. *Updated - Cellink Battery B install* Blackvue DR650GW-2CH dash cam install w/pics

Unfortunately not. These gauges aren't part of the package for the EU-version which comes with PP as standfard. Though reflections are an issue and not only at night. Best regards, Günther
  11. Introduce yourself!!

In Texas? I can't be happier to be in Germany :D
  12. Introduce yourself!!

I can see the P-51 at the wall behind the Mustang :D
  13. Switching from Ecoboost to GT/GT350

If I were you I would go for it
  14. Switching from Ecoboost to GT/GT350

 There is no "forbid". The sales policy for Europe is that they don't offer the V6 and GT350 over the Ford dealership. The importers however have them in stock and in Germany are a couple of GT350 already on the road. Best regards, Günther
  15. Switching from Ecoboost to GT/GT350

Well, apart from the fact that UK and Germany don't punish owners of cars with big engines, there is certainly a difference in engine sound between Ecoboost and GT. For me it was no question to go for the GT as the difference in price to the Ecoboost is really marginal. GT350 is almost double...
  16. Anyone here from or been to the Germany (Autobahn)

No. Speed limits are also on country roads. For certain parts the speed limit is indicated if lower. Again no. There is no reason to stay in the left lane. Stay on the rightmost lane unless you overtake with a substantial speed difference. If you see the headlights flashing in your rearview...
  17. Anyone here from or been to the Germany (Autobahn)

Although its an old post I just wanted to share my thoughts. I am german and grew up with the Autobahn. So no big deal. Many cars are capable to go beyond 200 km/h (124 mph). This does not mean that everybody is doing this every time. As gas is also not for free over here many people drive with...
  18. 2nd Europe Mustang Event - The Pictures!

What an amazing event! Here are some pictures from my camera. Thanks to Manuela from the Mustang Club Italy I didn't had to shoot while driving  A big compliment to Patrik and his team! Best regards, Günther
  19. Find all your Mustang equipments with Ford ETIS and your VIN

My dealer was never up to date with the information. The only source he is using is VISTA. The info from Deysha turned out to be more precise. As she confirmed to me that the car is in Baltimore VISTA still assumed the car to be in Flat Rock. As one example how long it takes from Bremerhaven...
  20. It has finally arrived!

Finally at the dealer on 22nd Mar 2016. One day later I could visit the car. I discussed with the dealer how to install the dashcam. On 31st March I will take it over after 285 days waiting. Best regards, Günther
