How long does it take from the time of placing order to actual delivery of car at your dealership? Thanks!

It depends on where you are and if the car is gonna spend most of its time on train or not. I haven't gotten mine yet but I ordered on 9/22 and my mustang was built on 10/19... it spent a few days in the factory and was released last week... on Monday... hopefully it's on a train now heading to Southern California .... My ETA is 11/10. That should give a good time frame/ estimate... I hope

Timing is everything with ordering. I ordered mine on April 9 and took delivery on May 14, 34 days!!! I got lucky with the timing.

I ordered mine 10/19. build date scheduled for 11/9. delivery estimated for 11/29. We'll see how that works with thanksgiving!!

My car was actually ordered on Oct. 28th and acknowledged by Ford. My dealer emails me the latest status of the car's progress every Friday.
I am about 970 air miles, due south from the Flat Rock, MI factory. I am hoping to receive the car a.s.a.p. since I am renting a car now.

On average, 8-10 weeks. But averages are deceiving. If the temperature in one room of my house is 40 degree F and another is 100F, they average out to a comfortable 70F. Or, looking at it another way, averages without standard deviation isn't telling you much.

Placed my order 10/21, estimated delivery is 11/21. Seems like it varies quite a bit

My local Ford dealer 'assured' me that delivery has been taking between 4 to 5 weeks. After reading posts on this forum, it is plain to see that 4 to 5 week delivery is a pipe dream the dealer fed me to promote a sale. :-(

Sometimes "pipe dream(s)" come true as it did with my order. It doe happen but it's not the norm with Ford. My dealer assured me 6 to 8 weeks and I got it in 5.
