I got 7,800 out of my rear P-Zeros...used line lock 1 time. Those tires are garbage. IMO not a very good barometer of whether the car was beat up or not.

During the installation I noticed he re-used the heat shield that came from ford and put another on top of that which comes with the shifter. As far as heat coming in...it's definitely no more that what already came in with the stock shifter.
