It says it's standard... You press and hold Unlock on your fob, the windows go down. You press and hold lock and they close. They call it global open/close and it's listed as standard equipment for the base EB I ordered, which is the bargain basement car except for having the sweet EB motor.

I'm sure the mustang will have all the same features as any other ford equip with the keyless entry and start system.

I was slightly worried about this, as I really like my gti being able to roll down the window with the key in the door. Never knew about other cars doing it with the remote. So much better using the unlock button vs a physical key

Since the convertible top has a mechanical latch, putting the top down will not be possible, but the windows should be doable. My 2010 Taurus SHO can roll down the front windows and open the sunroof to the vent position. I believe newer Tauri (2013-14-15) can roll down all 4 windows.
They do? I never knew that. I'm going out right now to try this. I love learning new stuff. :)

Well, holding the unlock button down opens the sunroof to the vent position and rolls down both front windows on my 13 Taurus. It does not roll down the rear windows. Also holding the lock button does not roll up any windows. I assumed it would not since that is a safety issue.

Ah so no change from the 2010. Makes sense as a safety issue on roll up though other companies do it. I like the roll down feature so the interior cools down quicker in summer.

I don't really understand the safety issue concern as a lot modern cars have a built in safety to stop the window from going up if it gets hung up and feels a lot of resistance. Not a bad safety feature but IMO it shouldn't be on the drivers side window. As I'd like to roll my window up if someone is trying to hold it down.

Did you try locking it twice then holding?
Lock - Lock - Press and hold. (on 3rd one)
That's how the Fusion works.

I have a 13 fusion. The way it works on mine is unlock, unlock and hold, until it starts opening, then u can let go. All windows down and sunroof pops to vent position.
To close, lock once and hold until starts then let go. All windows and sunroof close.( no matter what position its in.)

Ah, they may have changed the lock/close for the 14 then. Even the sales person thought it was press once then hold on second press, but then we tried the hold on the third press and it worked.

I have tried it a dozen different ways on my 13 Taurus and it does not roll up the windows or close the sunroof.

Anyone know if this works on the 13 or 14 Escape Titaniums?

Someone mentioned it being turned on and off through myford touch. Maybe that explains why not all fords and more specifically the s197 have this. Sounds like my question is answered for the 2015 though. Thanks!

This is from my 2013 Taurus manual:

Global Opening (If Equipped)

Note:
The ignition must be off and the accessory delay feature must be
not activated to operate this feature.

Note:
To disable this feature, contact your authorized dealer.
Press and hold the unlock button on the remote control to begin opening
the front windows and venting the moon roof (if equipped). Release the
button once motion starts. The windows and moonroof will continue
opening.

Press the lock or unlock button on the remote control to stop motion.

No window or sunroof (moonroof, whatever) closing feature available.
