I've always been jealous of people who can hold down the button on their remote and roll down all the windows in their car before getting in on a hot day. My friend's mini convertible actually can unlock and collapse the top this way. Does anyone know if they worked this into the software for the 2015? I think the fusion has this?
Maybe the next time one shows up at a dealership someone could give it a go.

I thought I read on the press releases specs that it had both global open and close.

Since the convertible top has a mechanical latch, putting the top down will not be possible, but the windows should be doable. My 2010 Taurus SHO can roll down the front windows and open the sunroof to the vent position. I believe newer Tauri (2013-14-15) can roll down all 4 windows.

My girlfriend just bought the 2014 Fusion SE and it has the ability to drop all the windows with the key fob. You press the unlock button twice then on the third press hold it down about 3-5 seconds. To put them back up, do the same with the lock button. My sales rep had just purchased a 2014 Mustang GT and said that his didn't have that. On the Fusion, it's an option on the left info screen on the dash. You can turn it on and off.

I have it on my 2003 Accord Coupe and Love It! I always roll down the windows when I'm walking to the car to let the heat out on a Sunny Day. For those of you who weren't around the forums when the 2005 Mustang was released it was supposed to have the Global Open feature but for some reason Ford deactivated it on early cars and then eliminated it. I still don't know why. The thing I am jealous of with My Accord Coupe is being able to close the windows with the remote, and opening and closing the sunroof. Going to be giving up the Sunroof on my S-550 obviously, hopefully I'll be able to at least open and close the windows by remote.

BTW, Can anyone confirm if the windows still drop a quarter of an inch when you open the door and then close when the door is closed?

The option guide says that even the base V6 has Power 1-touch Up/Down Driver and Passenger Windows with Global Open/Close.

I remember this being an issue in 2005. If I remember correctly either it was supposed to be an option but it didn't make it into production or it was available on the early cars and dropped as time went on? I don't believe it's been offered in a Mustang since.

This is standard on all 05 and later so the glass clears the plastic trim rail. Also allows less pressure/vacuum when opening and closing making it easier. At least that's what ford said

Yes, they do this (at least in the 2 I've now seen).

I figured they did, for the same reason Ford had it on the 2005-14's. It allows a Water Tight Seal with the Frameless Door Glass, and also prevents the Frameless Glass from Pulling Away from the Seal at Speed to prevent Wind Whistle.

No. It has nothing to do with starting the car. On my Accord Coupe, you press the Unlock Button on the Fob twice and hold it to Roll the Windows Down. I'm assuming to Close them you would do the same with the Lock Button.
