Just received my VIN number. At this stage I cannot access my window sticker (Research Maniacs). Maybe in a few days. All I know is it is supposed to arrive on the 21st November. I ordered my car in July last year so it has taken a while for my VIN number to arrive. Patience....Patience!!

has your dealer been able to give you an approx. build date from his inhouse vista system?

Not at this stage. I'll pester him again in a week or so.
Ian.
You wont see your window sticker until the week before the build.

you may find a faster and more accurate reply if you ask Deysha at Ford Service. Send her your VIN and she will tell you the build week.

Thanks Aussie Mate. Iv'e just got off the phone to my dealer and he told me that the official Ford website has my car down as September production and arriving at the end of November. How do you contact Deysha?
Ian.

There seems to be inconsistencies with all the different images. I'm very curious as to what ours will have now.

I saw a video earlier which showed a RHD Magnetic fastback which has the PP splitter.

I wonder if the non PP splitter is for convertibles?

This picture (also taken from the video) also shows the PP one.

Thanks for those screen grabs WILDB and GAFA. Good to see and gives some hope that we still might get the PP splitter on our cars.

From what I've seen European spec GT convertibles have the PP splitter. However, have only seen pictures of press vehicles and not any actual customer delivered euro convertibles yet.

The guessing continues!

Looks like many might be spending another $10k to get it looking like the US variety....:D

I have read on this site from our USA friends, it is not as simple as changing the Splitter.
The front Under Car Tray has to be changed to accommodate the PP Splitter.
This becomes an expensive exercise.

I'm over it!
I don't care if it has 2 fronts or 2 arse ends and looks like a Manly ferry, I just want the vehicle

no doubt the aftermarket scene will pickup once it hits australia, plus just change out the entire front end to the roush or GT350 front ends. then there is the other brands.

someone will no doubt make one like the PP one that will fit to the non pp undertray.

Yeh I know its a headache, but we will make it work! As you can see in my signature, I am planning a lot of mods. Whats another one to add to the list?
