Hi Bob,
Yeah, I suppose the initial thrill has worn off a bit and having sold my factory and retired, the opportunities to do things to the Mustang are not there any more.
As you may remember, when I was working and bought my first FPV BA V8 Falcon I had the room and finances to pull the...
Thanks Paul. Not quite the same as getting the 2018 model "12 inch cluster" if you no what I mean. ;) My dear wife just said moments ago " You are NOT getting a new one." Damn!!
Ian.
I wish I could afford the 2018 model Mustang GT, then I would be able to see what speed I am doing, which is bloody difficult in my 2016 GT!!
Of course there are a whole lot of other reasons why I would love the 2018 GT ;)
Ian.
The factory nickel lustre wheels and factory black wheels are identical in all respects other than for the obvious colour difference and the extra $500 that Ford require for the silver wheels.
The tyres are also identical in sizing and brand.

Hi Drew,
Naaa...... the last time I could have got it on with a Meter Maid would have been more years than I care to remember ,,,,,, sigh!!
How's ya 'stang going with the lightened front bumper bar ... lol?
Ian.

Ian.

Hey Drew, it is 3mm for the pilot holes. Sorry about going off at you, but I get so frustrated when dealers stuff things up, especially when we went to so much trouble to make sure that your Mustangs weren't going to have holes drilled in the wrong places. I hope that it turned out OK.
Ian.
PS...
Really good Bob. They are really a fantastic machine. How is you Orange beast going? I was a bit hard on Drew above but it is so frustrating after all the advice we have given.
Ian.
David, the Lakin plate backing kits have been designed to fit exactly on specific points on the front and rear. On the front there are two little dimples on the front bar that exactly match the holes on the Lakin plate. Drill through these dimples exactly with pilot holes to match the supplied...
The new ones are much easier to use than the smaller, original factory paddles. I find that as I get used to a new car with paddles, I tend to use them more often. If I am feeling lazy I just leave the transmission in full automatic.
