Got my mustang back today. Air-con cold and no whine from the compressor. Everything seems to be put back together well. No cracks or rattles and all interior lighting working as normal. While it's very labour intensive it does seem like the service techs aren't having too many issues swapping...

Got a call from my dealer today. Parts have turned up so getting it done in a couple of weeks time. Parts were ordered just before Xmas and the dealer was expecting them to come in mid to late Jan.

It is the AC compressor. I have the same thing and am waiting for a replacement to come in stock.

Another one waiting for a new evaporator and compressor. Dealers expectation is that they should receive the parts by mid-late Jan. Will be a novelty to have the air-con working again :cool: As mine isn't daily driven I've just got used to driving it with the windows down everywhere...

Looks like mine is failing too... Started to see the power (assume its refrigerant?) coming out of the passenger centre vent. The silver ring around the vent was ice cold compared to the other vents. Then a day later the compressor started whining badly. I always have the air-con running so at...

I wonder if Ford is not planning to build any RHD cars during the first year of production (as was the case with the first launch where the first RHD cars ended up being produced in Aug 2015 and were MY16). Any discussion in the UK section about delivery dates for MY18?

No outstanding field service actions being listed on ETIS for mine (27 Aug 15 build).

Also got mine today. A pretty nice touch I thought. My letter was addressed to someone called Perry - Can't help but see the irony of Ford mixing up the letters. Be interesting to see if they re-send the letters.

Same thing has just recently come up on mine! Only done just over 4000km though. Was wondering if it was due to the fact my car is an early (August 2015) build and it's coming up to 12 months since it was built.
