For those Sydney based buyers, my dealer contacted me saying one of Ford's promotional vehicles will be available for ONE day for people to come and have a look, and hopefully drive.

No details on spec and probably LHD
Its a triple yellow gt lhd, will be in cairns august 3rd

Yep, everything I've read about it is "no drive" and they (Ford) will police that aspect.

My dealer is sometime in early July.

Aus/NZ will have no sequential tail lights, they will be clear. No tri-signature front drl (the sharks gill lights in the front). No heat extractors on the bonnet. (unable to have confirmed if Aus/NZ are getting the active pedestrian safety system in the bonnet. Apparently this is the reason why the vents have been deleted.... If not installed, pi55 poor effort that we wont get them). No option of optioning (performance pack / diff ratio change / seats - interior change). And, as you mentioned no line lock feature.

The dates are all over the place :) i wouldn't be surprised if someone who ordered in June gets their car in April and someone who ordered in March gets their car in July...

The tri bar led 'shark gill lights' are present however they aren't proper day time running lights like they should be.

Tri-signature gills are there but not operational. Discussed this with a contact from Ford, it is not known if they have completely removed the led assembly or it is not connected. I feel that they would have left it out....

Might cop a "flaming here"....lol
As each month goes by, I am learning about something else that our version will be lacking/missing/removed, and a little more of my enthusiasm for the Mustang is lost.

Thread revival, but hey...

We ordered in Aug and took delivery on 11 March.

Completed the survey (could have been number 100 given percentages it showed me)

40-49
Project manager / accountant (my partner's daily drive and a plaything for me)
V8 - the soundtrack is part of the experience, and it replaced a V8 Audi
Manual - it replaced an auto Audi. My Ranger is auto but fun to drive needs a stick. It's no issue even in the city, though the auto demo we drove was better than I expected
Fastback - no manual option for the convertible made that decision. We had a Boxster when we ordered but sold it through lack of use a few months ago, so happy with the tin top.
DIB. We disagreed between Magnetic (me) and Triple Yellow (my partner) so compromised on blue (with silver stripes). We both regretted not going orange when it arrived - until we got the stripes fitted, but not any more.

It'll be getting an exhaust. Not chosen yet but possibly just the Roush axle back. Or might look at Ford performance kit 2 with a view to adding the supercharger later, but probably a new kitchen will be deemed more important.

Another thread bump. It said I was #100, yay!

Blah blah 'vert because we have a 2 seater convertible which is great fun but my daughter misses out so we wanted a 4 seater version.

Lack of a manual option was annoying but wifey will want to drive, so, acceptable...
Ordered a second fastback in manual and we'll see how we go with liking them and/or putting one up for sale.

I kinda grew up liking the Jap cars, so 4banger turbo wouldn't phase me, but Mustangs could be some of the last NA V8s, so could be historic... plus it's faster and sounds better!

Cool survey. Thanks. I was really surprised by how many have ordered the Nickel wheels. I am really excited by the black ones.

the GT eco boost ratio..... not a surprise. I almost went eco boost but went GT in the end.
