Similar to US threads, for all the new owners what kind of comments and reactions you received from strangers, friends, work mates, haters, cats, dogs etc?

I absolutely love the reactions that i get..LOL I have had young guys hanging out the sides of their 4x4's to have a better look.

Driving down the highway from the Sunshine Coast (QLD) having people driving up behind me with iPads and iPhones taking photos...

I too am interested in finding from new owners their impressions of the car. I have noticed several people mention that they were happy with the car as it was delivered and didn't seem too fussed about the decklid GT badge as well as liking the standard exhaust sound. I know a lot of people have purchased decklid replacements, exhaust replacements, suspension kits, (and I am not having a go at them for doing so), but maybe it is worthwhile appreciating the car as delivered before making too many changes that alter the character of the car. In saying that, I also intend making changes if I feel they are necessary (exhaust, suspension, etc) after driving the car for a while.

I agree Polystang. I have a Corsa Sport exhaust in the garage to install, which I purchased before the car arrived.
Now that I have the car, I probably would have been happy with the stock exhaust. It might not be the loudest, but still has a lovely V8 rumble.

I will just enjoy the car for a few months before looking at any more mods.

I thought I'd stick this in here; a useful guide to adjusting the bonnet/hood alignment. Monty says the hood catch is slightly different on the UK versions so ours might be similar.
