I canāt really comment on the headlights as itās my wife's car and I donāt know if I was ever even in the '16 after dark. I certainly donāt remember the lights well enough to compare if I was.
I barely drove it as I bought a Walkinshaw VF Ute for my own fix of V8 shortly after she got it, and...
Thanks for the reply. Yes, we have a heated steering wheel, and we also have a wind deflector which should help reduce the wind swirl considerably.
It's interesting what you say about the MX5 - I've had three of them (NA; original and best IMO) and never had a heater issue. I've also had an MR2...
I'm looking for some input on how the heater blower works, specifically on an '18, though it's likely not different on '16 & '17 cars.
When the heater is set to auto, the roof is down and the temperature set reasonably high (say 24.5 degrees) it is still sometimes cold in the car if the outside...
When does it do that? I noticed ours do it on Saturday when I was waiting for my wife to get in. It was turned off at the time and she had the key with her outside the car, but it was unlocked and I was in the passenger seat.
Very nice, and congrats.
It is amazing how what arenāt in the great scheme of things large fundamental changes have made the '18 so much better than the '16/'17. Plus it has sorted a lot of the things that felt cobbled together to get the car to market like putting back the bonnet vents and tri...
Not that the question is anything but moot by now of course, but I still donāt see the point in waiting - at least for a GT auto.
The Shaker in our '18 is way better than the one in our '16 was, but with the dynamic exhaust we never turn it on. Might be different if the car is a daily, but ours...
Weāre in Wellington, which I appreciate isnāt Melbourne, but $1,600 sounds like a huge rip to me.
We use a local sign place that does vehicle wraps and they make the stripes to our specs for under NZ$800.
Our ā16 had stripes pretty much identical to 16Fastback's.
They cost NZ$750 or $795 (I forget which) at a sign making place in Wellington. The same place did the ā18 and I think that was $695 or so (no roof this time), but a slightly different design.
Oh, and the 10 speed seems pretty awesome.
I drove a couple of 6 speed auto previous models and was happy we had gone manual.
Iāve yet to have hand controls installed in the '18 so I havenāt driven it yet, but as a passenger itās clearly much, much better and Iām not unhappy that we had to go...
Hard to say as very few people will have experience of an '18 with and without Magneride.
What I can offer is that a 2018 with Magneride is noticeably more comfortable and compliant than a 2016 without. Having had a few BMWs over the years I canāt see you finding even a non Magneride Mustang...
We've had two mustangs striped and both have been perfect.
Assuming these are vinyl then I imagine the problem is that whoever is fitting them is, to be blunt, no good at it.
We use a sign making company who do everything from boards to windows to full vehicle wraps, and I stayed to see our...
No blind spot monitoring. Adaptive cruise is fairly basic compared with other systems also. It had auto high beam, I believe pedestrian detection etc though.
I was in San Francisco for 1 day earlier this week and saw a fair few 18s, all convertibles bizarrely. Personally I think Kona is too dark (as I do with Magnetic also so disregard if you like that colour).
Our '16 was a fastback because we prioritised transmission over body style, but not everyone who wants a manual is able to drive a manual...
I'd not previously been a flappy paddle fan and I still havenāt driven our auto '18 (as it doesnāt have hand controls yet), but an RS6 I had once used...
