So I ordered new 20" wheels for my S550 and now I am shopping tires. I know the usual brands, and am a Nitto fan through and through. But I don't daily this car, hell, I don't hardly drive it to be honest. It's over 2 years old and doesn't even have 7,000 miles on it. I will be running 275/35 for the front, on a 10" wide wheel and 305/35 rear with an 11" wheel. Anybody have an experience with this brand? I am not saying I am going to run them, but they seem like a decent tire at a great price.

I know it's different, but I ran Arturo AT tires on my old diesel truck for years. No problems. Lasted a long time and they weren't noisy like other brands. I'm sure every model is going to be different but I had a good experience with that brand.

I do not personally but I have couple friends with them and love them. They went from the horrendous 555 G2 Nittos to Atturo and was night and day better. They both are supercharged and putting a lot of power down. They hook up really well, especially for the price... I wish I could have gotten a set in the size I needed last time, the Michelin are awesome tires but $$$$$$$$...

Thanks for the replies. I don't know why Nitto is say hated on, I have ran 555's for years on multiple vehicles with no issues. Have them now with no issues. But it's good to know the Atturo are good.

They aren't that terrible as long as it is really warm and dry. Any moisture at all, spin city, like comical giggly spinning. Or at least they were for me, I ran 305 30 20 on the rear of my 22 GT, any rain at all, I couldn't give more that a breath of throttle or it would spin all the way into 4th gear on my 10 speed... YMMV, but I did not like them at all.. One plus was I could not wear them F&$Kers out... Did multiple line lock burn outs and couldn't see any wear at all.... Sold my 22 GT with over 20k on them and they still looked relatively new.

Here is one of many I did with mine :) LOL..... Was a ton of fun at the time

Brand is not sexy at least go with Falken or Toyo otherwise looks like can't afford tier 1 or two brands....if you care about this at all....

Because folks buy the G2 instead of the R2

I don't really care what people think I can afford or not, because money isn't an issue. I was mainly thinking for a car that isn't driven that much to have $1500-$2000 tires on it seems like a waste. Maybe some people don't see it that way. I will probably wind up using Falcon's but saw this deal and thought it was pretty good. The tire don't look bad either, so that was a plus. But then again, I may just stick with what know and run the ol crappy G2 555's.

I do like the Aturros. But be careful with the break in period. Takes like 200 miles. I had Nittos R2s and it would not hook in second gear. Now with the AZ 850s it does. Boosted at around 700hp car.

I relate to that philosophy ..it's the only contact with the road so never a waste, just like shoes....expensive never a waste.

Falken are great tires with respectable brand. I am a brand snob though because I relate cost plus brand power to quality as a default which is entirely defective thinking haha.

Well, I went with the Conti DWS06 with great results. Price is decent. However, I don't know if they make the size you want in the rear
