I think alot of people want to see or hear what your Mustang can do - the way different people urge you on to do this can be done in a nice way or an aggressive manner...some people are nice, some people are a**holes, but most people just want to hear/see/experience the car.

Same thing when I see an exotic or semi-exotic - 911 GT3, Ferraris, Lambos, McLarens...I'd like to hear and see them go...I try to be nice about it, give them a thumbs up, motion them to rev or accelerate a bit. I try not to be aggressive or douchey towards them because they're just people enjoying their cars like we are.
I get this a lot. Most know they can't actually take my car, they just want to see and hear it.

Ok, I have my only complaint about this car. Seems to attract more crazy drivers then my other cars did. People that don't want to let you merge or my favorite the people in the 4 door sedan that think they are racing me and have to go by me at 30+mph over the speed limit and pass me to prove who knows what. Kind of curious if anyone else has noticed this. I don't drive aggressive. An occasional fast start from a light when I'm the first car but I don't weave in traffic or anything to make people think I'm trying to race them. Also never seem to have this issue when I drive my c300.
I have not had this happen to me yet, but honestly was one of the things that had me questioning getting a car like this. Do not want any part of it. Have had multiple fast cars pull up next to me and we just give mutual thumbs up or they just continue on their way. I am a Mustang guy, but I can certainly appreciate all types of cars for what they are. No competition in me, I got what I wanted.

On a side note, as I clicked on the thread that said "attracting every moron" I had to question if I was accepting that I was a moron by just clicking... could be interpreted in multiple ways. :D

I have gotten a few morons myself. I just try to ignore them unless I feel like they may end up hitting my car.

OK, I though I was the only one this was happening to ! I don't get why they do it, 90 percent of the time I ignore the others drivers. But I agree that sometime ( very few times) the others car/driver just want to hear the exhaust or see the mustang take off.

Crap. When I had the vettes I was constantly tailgated by Honda accords. Don't know why, but was always somewhat amused by the guy in an accord trying to egg on someone in a fairly well modified Z06. A little clutch hold down and blip of throttle through the straight pipes usually slowed them.

Just bought this S550 GT-P (love it), and put on a MBRP catback within a few days. I guess the tradition will continue and I will look for the long tubes and AL flywheel... HA

Life is great.

I get this every time I drive around town, funny thing is half the time they get to see red and blue lights as this town is cracking down on speeding big time.

oh man the young man that has a white GT PP passed me Friday going the other way, he burbled his exhaust and I was instantly jealousies, looks like stock mufflers but it sounded perfect.

Haha, yeah man I love the exhaust on a coyote motor (and most ford V8's) once opened up! The fire sequence and timing of these things make for such an amazing sound. Even at idle they sound cammed!

Moron this morning decided he wanted to take the exit to the interstate with me. He was trying to push me into the emergency lane with his old beat up truck. I gunned it and moved on..........

I feel you. I had some asshole in a Nissan sentra almost run me off the road yesterday while I was driving to go get fathers day dinner with my son.

I have had a few fart can civics also. I can't race them because I'm always laughing to hard :)
