I guess I should stay far far away from this thread, lol. Stock looks cool and all, but I've had a lot of fun with modding and no regrets. I personally like to separate myself from the average and be unique, and not only when it comes to my car. Just me though.

Exhaust, new wheels and lowering mine. That is pretty much all I am doing. If anything else, maybe tint or some suspension/weight loss mods. Nothing crazy from this guy.

When I got my '15 last year I was perfectly happy with the exception of wanting a white ball shift knob and tinted windows. Of course since then I have added a MF street cat back, painted the intake and coil covers and just installed Steeda Progressive springs. And of course after lowering, I now see the need for 20mm wheel spacers.
I think I'm done after the spacers, but I always say, nothing is written in stone.
Well, when brakes need redoing, I'm thinking of slotted rotors and painting the calipers red. See where this is going??
Dominos come to mind......

I told my wife that I wouldn't do anything to the Mustang when I traded in my modded Focus ST .........and then I joined this site  I told my wife the "car plans" come spring and she was like I thought you didn't need to mod this car that's why you wanted to get rid of the other car.

.....and she actually believed that shit.....

LMAO @ the last line. I pulled that on my wife too. As a matter of fact, I use that line every time I change cars.

I've been getting less and less mod-y each purchase, one of my usual changes was wheels, but I +love+ the PP wheels, just about everything cosmetic is right on for me. I do want - as I think it's part of the experience - a little more sound, and I'm about to resolve that.

Then maybe some really simple bolts-ons like a CAI+tune package.

That's really it.

... except for the supercharger.

I've found, from personal experience, that the amount of mods is inversely proportional to how old the owner is
I am 62 and every car I have ever owned has been modified for performance and appearance. The Mustang is no different.

I have added a CAI, Exhaust and Tune for a performance bump. For appearance hood spear stripes and a side stripe. Definately adding the BMC hood scoop and the wife wants a duck tail spoiler.

I prefer the sleeper look while still modding.

Definitely could be true. 43 now, and I have done some visual mods to other cars when younger. Though even then, I later thought I should've left it alone:doh:

A custom look makes you stand out in the crowd. My car took first place in the popular vote only because it was lowered, tinted, and had stripes. There were 13 other 2015's there in the show. For some us, even old fuckers, it is just a hobby.

However with that being said, stock is cool too. At least it is a Mustang!
Doing shows I could understand the need to stand out a bit more, but mine is a weekend toy/occasional driver. I want to blend in rather than stand out.

Same as me. Gets enough attention right now anyway, don't need more. Making performance mods like tune on V8 for small horsepower gain (that most people won't ever use anyway) and a potential to void the warranty isn't my cup of tea either. Suspension mods at some point - maybe.

Yup. I actually chose Magnetic partly because of it's stealth. On a cloudy day, it's nearly invisible and I like it that way.

I'm keeping mine stock appearance wise just 5% tint, dash cam, minor paint correction, and CQuartz coating. I'm going to change the stock shifter but just the top not the assembly. I'm planning to have Steeda put on a catch can. I'm probably going to have some suspension mods done at Steeda because stock suspension feels a little soft to me even with the performance pack. I want to tighten it up a bit, I hate the body roll and bounce! I love the performance package wheels and the look of the car as it is. After seeing the damage stripes did to a vehicle's paint yesterday while having my window tint done I'm not putting any on mine. When it comes time to do the brakes I'm installing slotted rotors because they look pretty awesome.
