Yes the eco-boost will get better gas mileage than the v-6 but, who is going to drive the turbocharged mill and get gas mileage? A turbo car is really hard to keep your foot out of the gas.
Mandatory 93 octane gas or the knock sensor will pull all the timing out of the ignition and kill all the performance it has, once it's warmed up to operating temperature. For me I have no choice but to get the v-6, that is if I plain to be able to drive the sports car without going broke.
Really had my mind set on that sweet little v-6 anyway, with an extra 10 large for that 5.0 liter mill. I'm sure it's worth the extra 10 large over the base models $22,210 2014 3.7L 6 speed stick shift.
I do still like the 2014 body style front end, retro 1969-70 Boss Mustang. I think Henry needed to move forward though, with the new body style as the previous model was beginning to grow long in tooth.
