Any tips/tricks to seal the airbox?

Since the GT350 and BULLITT share air boxes figure it may be better to ask here. Does anyone have any tips for getting a better seal around it to keep out heat soak? I've often seen 20+* temps between IAT and ambient air, while moving slowly in traffic and at times 8-12 even when moving even while moving at highway speeds.

Just curious if any ones looked into ways to improve that, other than drive faster.

Not a GT350/Bullitt, but for my Roush intake I had cut a Lexan (plexiglass) cover to fit. You could do the same type of thing, mine was held in between the rim of the box and the rubber seal, but on the GT350 box it almost looks like it is all one piece.

Not sure how the dimensions compare, but Roush makes a proper closed box cover now for theirs, could possibly fit as well.

If you want another silly answer like drive faster, my temps stay lowest when I don't start the car!
