Cheap is not the goal, I just don't want 800hp for the street. 650 would be a sweet spot, and therefore don't need a 3" exhaust, long tubes, E85, blah blah blah. Stays quiet and streetable.

The power you get from any of the FI options will be largely based on the amount of boost (pulley size) and timing (tune) you decide to run. Obviously there is more to it than that but that is a simple way to look at it.

I went with a Procharger P1X and with the initial conservative tune was around 550-600hp. Same Procharger with a smaller pulley and more timing, fueling, etc put down 700 at the wheels.

The difference between the power levels was the lower power level was only seeing about 5-6psi and the higher power level was around 10psi, so just different pulleys.

Pretty much any of the options out there can do what you want, it’s just a matter of running the boost levels that correlate to the power you want to make and coupling that with a good tune.

Let it eat! I saw this GT350 on I-75 yesterday. Drag pack, parachute and the unmistakable smell of E85 filled the air. He at least has to be running 9.50s or quicker to need a chute.

I just want a pre-made setup, maybe the Whipple would do it. I have done my time building custom turbo and supercharger kits on many cars in the past when it was all I could afford (diy). Now, I'd rather save time and frustration and just let someone figure the shit out and let me just bolt on, plug in and drive 😎

A parachute is required for cars trapping over 150mph in the 1/4. But there are tons of cars with no parachutes that trap higher. There are also a lot of cars with parachutes that have never seen 150+mph.

Yeah, I just assumed he was running 9.50s at over 150 mph with the way he was set up. He was still running a manual tranny because I could hear him shifting gears. I’ll keep an eye out for him when I visit the track and try and find out more info. about his setup.

Love seeing GT350s in the wild, instead of being garage queens.

That won't help his low end torque issue like a positive displacement blower would.
