GEICO doesn't recognize the EB, but I did the same quote for both a 2016 Mustang GT and "Mustang", the difference on my 6 month premium is $38 ($300 vs 338).

Some people turn "green with envy" and others try to conceal their jealousy by making dumb ass comments. Rather than complement your auto, they try one-upmanship to compensate for their inferior ride.:headbonk: Their inane comments prove how truly little they know about autos.

Ex's 2015 pretty basic EB was 145.

My 2015 Loaded to the gills 2015 GT PP is 153.

and LOL at all the 'shoulda bought a v8' responses. :cheers: There's some EB cars that will hang with if not drag some v8 ass around me.

Had a fun moment today lol

I'm an optician and I work with an older optometrist (73yo) who has a 2005 GT vert, and wanted to see my S550 since he didnt get a chance to see it since I got it.
So I park it in front of the store, and he comes out with a supervisor from our head office. The optometrist LOVED it, sat in it, and really complimented my car and my choice; then the supervisor goes :
Sup: Is that a V8 ?
Me: No, it's a V6.
Sup: But is that powerful enough ?
Me: Well yeah, it has 300hp.
Sup: Oh ok...

Then I saw him leave in his BMW 320i... That has 180hp and 200 torque...
So yes, 300h and 280 torque IS enough power lol

Something fun for those encountering peeps slagging off on the Ecoboost: the Coyote only makes 87 hp/liter whereas the EB makes about 134.78 hp/liter. :bolt:

Don't have my s550 gt yet, but ive always had people talk trash on the various cobras ive had. One of the funniest is after pulling up in a previous 8 second cobra foxbody. The guy yells across the parking lot to me "oh a mustang with flowmasters, ive never heard that before!" Funny thing is it was a 351w stroked to a 408 with a dominator carb, 9 inch rear with Detroit locker running straight LT's. It somehow sounded like every other mustang to him. Hah
