Hey everyone, this is one my only mods so I figured I would share it incase anyone wanted ideas for head placement. I have seen other installs on different forums. They only place 2 heads on the front of car, I was worried about the distance between head placement especially since I frequently travel through GA where they use the dragon eye laser gun which only ALP will currently jam and it requires 2 heads to jam. I used 3 heads up front and 1 on rear (hopefully I never get hit from an overpass by a dragon-eye). Its hard to see my third head is above the Mustang horse. I included a pic of a save I had when this system was on my F150 when I was coming across alligator alley. This system works like a charm anyone who needs laser protection I would highly recommend ALP.

I will be looking to get one of those systems myself. Did you install it yourself? How difficult was it?

It wasn't too bad the hardest part was routing the wires through the firewall. You have to remove the plastic fender liner. I have installed this 3 times prior on different vehicles also so I have it down. Biggest thing is to make sure the heads are straight and level.

Is there an "in-car" display or does it just wifi it to your phone? What is your reaction when you receive the alarm, slow down, keep going....?

I'm sure one of these days the FCC will include the frequency range that LIDAR uses, but until then, enjoy the extra freedom!

Yes there is a botton pad, no screen. I like the blue tooth because I shows you the speed and type of gun you got hit by however the Bluetooth is a separate piece you have to buy it doesn't come with the system. I absolutely start shedding speed quickly, I have mine set to continuas jam but a lot of people dont agree with that they and set theirs to 4-5 second jam then it turns off so the officer can get your speed and has no idea your are jamming them. There are some states that have laws against jammers which is why you can set it up 3 thru 9 second jam or unlimited.

It's funny how they list it as a "parking sensor" in the US.

Go to the Canadian distributor site, and it is sold for what it is.

That makes me laugh.

Haha yes they are, they actually do function as parking sensors as well. You have to go in and activate the "defense" setting in the set up.

I plan on adding this system to help along with my Valentine One. Just got it and absolutely LOVE the directional arrows. Awesome knowing WHERE the signal is coming from.
LOL there are those that swear by arrows and others who don't think they are necessary.

Nice choice. Have you had this setup tested yet? Also, don't forget to make sure your middle head is plugged into the middle plug on the control box.

One question though, since you've already spent the money for the majority of the kit, why not just pick up a 5th head to ensure you have full rear protection?

I have not had it tested in this vehicle. I always do huge amounts of research before I decide on any purchase, So I could probably set this up in my sleep lol I have all plugs connected in corresponding port. When I bought this kit I actually bought it for my wife's g37 (which was our travel vehicle) I only purchased the quad at that time because I assured the quad would be more than enough to cover that car. Since I have moved to Alabama from Florida I really never see any laser traps except when I travel back home or through GA. My right foot also seems to have lightened up quite a bit (I guess Im getting old) I rarely travel over 80 especially with the 3.73 in my PP, at this point I don't see a need for any additional heads.
