I had it too produced 7/2/20 soon as it came it went into the dealership to fix with a list of others things. Sad even at build 2261 it still was occuring.

I am L1986 and went down the assembly line in the middle of June. I looked at it initially and didn't see it pinched, but will take a closer look and report back.

Here are a couple of pictures of my car when it arrived at the dealership.

Not what you want to see.

Here is a picture of a car going down the assembly line with the displaced hose prior to the strut tower brace installation. How hard would it be for the worker that installs the brace to make sure the hose is properly positioned?

You seem to forget that this is built in a union plant where people have specific jobs, they only do what their job description entails, no more no less. Before you go there, I worked in a union shop once, I know the rules. :frown:

Long-time union member here, Chris and I hear ya.

But, there really is no excuse for the QA portion of "the job," especially for something this obvious. It wouldn't surprise me if someone decided the kinked coolant hose was "no big deal." Then, the question becomes, what else don't we know? We've certainly seen a few of those.

I have seen 2 here in Central Florida and 1 was bad. The other one, which was Job 2, was correct.

That is the ASSUMPTION that people are doing their jobs, being in QC my job is to make sure that they do, I catch the Corner Cutters, and they hear about it, I can be a real Prick. My Name goes in the final paperwork.
