I just got my car back from the shop. I am itching to drive it, but we got another dump of snow, which delayed my first drive.

-Hellion sleeper w/ 62mm ball-bearing turbos
-Hellion 4-1 Headers
-eBoost2
-Lund tuned
-Calimer Stage 3 TR3160
-MGW X-Spec shifter
-Mantic twin-disc clutch
-ID1300XDS injectors

This is only a street car. Pump 93 for now - E85, maybe this summer. Alex at Lund got me taken care of with no hiccups other than needing to replace my front O2s. I am keeping it just below 10psi until I get better fuel onboard.

6.5psi - 647whp
8.7psi - 692whp, 601 wtq
9.5psi - 725whp, 605wtq

Thanks for sharing the details.

Serious question - what’s the deal with the dip around 6500?

I know on some platforms, that’s just a characteristic of the engine. Still learning coyotes s550 engines.

@Boosted350 that' sounds like a very nice setup that you have. Who did the install on it? Did you utilize the water cooling option for the wastegates? My buddy is working on his TT Bullitt right now and he’s setting his up for water cooling using a FatHouse Fab coolant distribution block to cool the turbos and wastegates.

HPJ Performance did the install. I haven't gotten my head in the car yet to answer your question.

Not a Coyote but still a good question.

Not sure, log looks great. When I get my first actual rip in the car I will see if I feel anything, but I doubt it.

lt would be interesting to look at the data log. It'll depend on if they were going for the smoothest power curve or finding where the fuel table is happiest. My guess is they focused on the fuel table and something is causing a small dip - could be you need to add/pull cam timing right there to smooth it out (assuming the fuel table is optimized, they're in the timing window, and there's no weird issue like a bad signal or something that's causing the ECU to compensate for a false positive).

Very nice. I have a similar build and am loving it! Once she is into the boost it is hard to keep from breaking loose!

I am torn between a Hellion TT kit or a fathouse 800 Whipple package. More than sheer power I want reliability and ease of use. I don’t feel like constantly chasing issues which has happened to me before with turbo kits. On the other hand I have talked to several people who have put 30-40k miles on Hellion kits without a single problem.

It would be much easier to do Hellion due to being near palm beach dyno. I just am impressed with the quality of the fathouse setup and there is just less moving parts with a whipple.

Probably will end up doing the hellion just because it’s so much easier to get the car to the shop, but haven’t decided yet.

Bottom or top mount TT kit? I ask because I’ve been talking with my buddy and he’s expressed his frustration with his bottom mount turbos and how tight it is to hook up lines and/or remove the turbos for maintenance. I was just on the phone with him last night when he was removing them. I imagine top mount would be better based on everything he’s told me and showed me in pics.

I’m glad I went with a single top mount. It’s going to have its own set of challenges to install, but not nearly as many as what I know about the bottom mounts that he has.

Top mount. Don’t have any reason to hide the kit and don’t feel like worrying about speed bumps. I talked to a guy with bottom mounts and even with just mild drop he was constantly worried about scraping the piping and turbos.

Yessir! Way to go. That was another reason I didn’t want bottom mounts.
