I actually can't stand the rear of the F-Type. It looks like they just decided to lop it off. Reminds me too much of a Porsche 928 bubble butt.
I was about to post the same thing. Parts of the F-Type are awesome, but as a whole, I just don't feel very emotional about it.

There is someone near me who owns a vert, and I'll admit to doing a double-take whenever I see it, but I like the 911, the C7, and even the Mustang better overall. Maybe it's because those cars have a more clear lineage in their designs, and I'm a sucker for nostalgia. I don't know why, but the F-Type just doesn't make me react the same way.

As far as the Mustang goes, I still think there is something a bit off on the front (although that may be due to the lenses used in many photos). I am waiting for the reveal of the SVT version before deciding which way to go.

A thread about color selection on the Mustang? Give me a break!:frusty: If you dont like the colors then dont buy one. If you have the money then spend the extra 1-3k to do the interior any color you would like or the extra 3-6 k to paint your car whatever color. Hold out next year and they may not come out with anything new then either. For me it was a tough decision to make because there wasnt a particular color that jumped out at me. I finally made my decision because to be honest, its not that serious. No need to get all worked up about it. PEACE!

That's really bad advice advice and an oversimplification of the situation.

Edit: Take my situation, for instance. I'm ready to hightail it out of my car since I've crossed the German 100k death checkpoint. I just dropped 6k on a new transmission about 15k miles ago and I'm not ready to wait for something else to fall through. The S550 is in my crosshair and I can't pull the trigger because the colors are really disappointing. I'm not going to go out of my budget and spend $5k+ on a paintjob. That's just a terrible financial decision. I'd like to see what these up and coming colors look like. Problem is that I take a big risk for every month I hold onto this roundel deathtrap.

I was actually thinking the same thing, but maybe it's the recording. It's not bad up until it gets to the rev limiter. Then my ears want to explode.

My Mustang deserves better than that.

no one was saying the jag sounds BETTER than the 5.0, just that it's the best part about the car (the jag, that is)

anyway, this is still my favorite 5.0 sound

1-7/8" Long tube Headers - Ceramic Coated
3" Catted X-Pipe
3" Catback

[ame]

or this one

Kooks long tube headers 1 7/8inch, High flow catted x, Magnaflow Competition Catback

vertical videos are worse than AIDS (at least it seems you realized your mistake a couple seconds in, but couldn't turn back)

sounds nice, though :)

Personally, I truly believe Ford's pocket book is big enough to go this high end but would they sell them? Takes a long time to build a reputation as being knows as a sport/luxo brand like jag.
Ford should know, having owned Jaguar for awhile before selling them to Tata. :)
