Having a mustang quiet makes no sense. Like buying a mustang for mpg.
That's what the dd is. Quiet.

Just moving from cast iron blocks to aluminum blocks would pay off.
i agree... then you would lose enough nose weight that some stuff here and there for track days could be taken out for an event and you'd be in business. I've beat my head against a wall on buying a TA 392 for months.. Ive intentionally waited on 18 GT specs and now for PP2 release info. :frusty:

I will be back in another "muscle car" sooner than later As of now, old faithful the GT is winning in the logic game all day long. (i just for some reason love that fat booty turd from dodge for some reason):headbonk::headbonk::headbonk:

To be fair, I think Charger RT Scatpacks and SRT 392's and the Challenger counterparts are awesome fun DD's. Challenger if you want a 2 door of course. Enough punch to be a fun highway puller, a GREAT 8 speed trans that YOU control, not the computer, enough brakes to make things interesting, and a good touring suspension. People give the Charger and Challenger a hard time about weight and no track performance and I think, well DUH! That's not the point. When it comes to a fun every day V8 car that's practical but has some character, a Charger Scatpack is pretty hard to beat.

In fact, I want one.

thats a refreshing opinion actually... for me at least

Ive known nothing but mustangs forever it seems... thats all i ever built. I sold my cobra when I bought my Duramax and did the lifted tuned truck thing for a few years.. Sold the dmax and was on the fence for a 15 GT but ended up with my ST... I was sold on the nimble and insanely fun characteristics of the car and I had always thought hot hatch's were awesome. But the wrong wheel drive thing is slowly beating me down and Im over it. I have wanted a new challenger since I saw the first prototype and have never been able to shake that. What can I say it was love at first sight. But mustangs are my comfort zone. I know them, ive had them, and ive been very successful with them in builds. But part of me knows, no matter what i do to a mustang, I will not get over wanting a challenger until ive been down that road. I DD my car, i dont do track days, we dont have a lot of fun curvy roads, I just want to be able to romp on something and have a little fun on rare occasions. This choice for me between my comfort zone, and a vehicle that costs more and is less capable but I have desire to own is tough.

I'd love to have a R/T Scat Pack Charger. I love the sedans. I'd get one today if I wouldn't take such a hit.

I'd go Dodge Boys before Camaro just for the comfort. (I'm old)
Love the Challenger looks.

If the exhaust is too loud, you won't be able to hear when the tire noise changes from its normal white-noise pitch . . .

And it was the dd back when I had a commute.
