Riding gloveless in 33deg sleet on 395 one time (dropped left heated glove somewhere between office and garage a few blocks away) sucked! At least it was the clutch hand.

I usually put mine to bed right around Halloween. After spending 50 of my 57 years in the Cleveland area I've seen snow in early November and now they use a brine solution along with traditional rock salt and that shit is 10 times worse than just rock salt on the car. It's not worth it to me when I have a decently quick daily driver with AWD and all season tires.

Ice or rain doesn't matter, if you have had the underbody and cavities treated.
For my Bullitt there is a second set of Bullitt rims with Michelin Alpin winter tires, but also suitable snow chains for the drive axle (for vacation, just in case).
I don't need heated seats, the V8 produces enough heat, but I'll have the recaros fitted with carbon heating mats for my wife's sake.
For everyday use, we still have a 150 hp compact banger, which can be used for shopping or commuting.

Life is too short to drive around in boring cars more than necessary.

I’m response to this Bullitt thread, I do have a 2020 Bullitt, which is stored for the winter. It comes out in April and feels like a new car all over again.

Can't process storing the Bullitt for months. We may have hurricanes here but nothing like being able to drive year round. The only storage for me is the A/C garage for a few days at a time.

Here in southern AZ it’s about time to wake up! I‘m a windows down driver and given our heat, only possible for me comfortably early AM or at sunset. Will be nice to take some longer drives without turning the AC on. My M1 has pretty much been hibernating since April.

I like you can’t wait to keep the windows down and enjoy the sound of the exhaust in track mode.

Safest time of year to put the top down is winter and early spring. 70f (20c) less chance of getting burned. Wind burn is a bugger to in summer.
