My first year, 2020, I covered the car with a OEM Ford cover. In addition had a trickle charger keep the battery topped. Finally, this was in my garage. Every winter since have used the car almost as often in the winter as in the other seasons. This because global warming and little precipitation / snow in lower New York State has made it possible to not hide the car away for months at a time.

I agree with you to a point. I usually put her in storage in November, but tinker around with her until about December when my state inspection is required, and then ultimately pull the BULLITT off of my insurance policy and shut her down from January 1st - May 1st. Pennsylvania (and the other drivers on the road) can be treacherous in the dead of winter!

Eh, mine's been through 4 Ohio winters at this point.

Got a separate of set of wheels and a square setup of 255s PIrelli Sottozero 3.
Handles like a champ.

I paid too much dang money to have this sit, plus I don't wanna have a third car just for the winter.
But I understand both camps.

I just bought a set of Continental DWS 06 Plus tires to replace the shot Pilot Sport 4Ss. Don't get a lot of snow here - and it doesn't get too cold. But too cold for max performance summer tires.

Any snow and it won't come out of the garage. I'll drive the truck.

So...no quitting time this year!

Here in southern AZ it’s about time to wake up! Iā€˜m a windows down driver and given our heat, only possible for me comfortably early AM or at sunset. Will be nice to take some longer drives without turning the AC on. My M1 has pretty much been hibernating since April.
I was just about to say winter? Here in Phoenix AZ we are still hitting 110* days.

I don't have a garage and I get far too much wind to cover the Mach 1. So I just park it in the driveway once they put the "Ice and Car Melter" on the road. But even in the winter I'll take it for a loop around town so long as there's no snow on the road and there was some rain to wash the road off.

Nope, it's my daily even in the winter unless it's snowing that day as I would rather not deal with the idiots driving in the snow.
