What should the gauge be reading in the car while cruising? On 93 I believe it tried to keep 14.o and now on E85 it seems to be targeting 11.0. I was just curious if this is normal and also others experiences as well. Thank you.

Mine is usually around 10.0 -9.8 but I’m boosted not exactly sure what n/a should be.

It will depend on your ethanol content in the fuel. I believe mine targets low 10s to high 9s on E80 if I recall correctly.

Chart above is gold. But don't get crazy with a/f while cruising. Idle and wot are what you want to look at.

10 to 11-ish when on it, 20 when off the gas. I'll double check next time I drive the car, but 14 seems a bit lean when on the gas (for E85). Stock Coyote

When I was able to get true E85 it ran 9.8 to 10.2 at cruise.

If it is flex fuel running like e54-e70 11-12 would make sense. True e85 would be closer to the 9.8-10 as described.

PCM reads lambda. If lambda commanded is X value, STFT’s keep it at that value whether it’s E0 or E100. Until they go out of range either way from what your calibration allows.
Example: E60-E85 on my particular calibration, is about a 12% fueling swing.

It depends on your tune, the tuner sets a desired target AFR for pure e85 tunes, and uses a blending table for flex applications. The tables are usually based heavily on the F150 flex tables (if they aren't copied directly)

If your flex then it should vary based on the chart above, if you're straight e85 than this question is better directed at whoever wrote the tune you're running.

Actually the car is smarter than most of the tooners. It will target lambda 1 in 99% of the cases. WOT is where the tuner has lee way

Usually yeah, but without knowing who made the calibration it’s hard to say if it’s operating as intended or not.

At idle, I see 9.7-9.8 on my e85 race tune.
Under constant throttle (not WOT) when driving, around 9.7-9.8 as well.
WOT shows around 8.1-8.2.

This is on e85 tested at 90% e content.
