Anything else needed for e85 besides flex fuel tune ?
Searched up a lot of threads with mixed answers. Some say get injectors some say stock ones are ok.

NA motor stock with CAI

Thanks

I ran a Lund FF Tune two years on stock injectors. Which Lund says is fine. Just upgraded to LU47's because I did a 350 mani swap. From what I read the factory injectors on E85 are at their "bleeding edge" of function. If you chose to change the injectors the y are easy to do.

I run a Lund flex fuel tune in mine with no issues. I just have long tubes and a catback.

Stock intake manifold and ff tune is fine, really only need injectors for manifold swap and higher revs.

Nothing else needed for that setup other than a Lund Racing flex fuel tune.

Give us a call if you have any questions or would like to place an order. We'll take awesome care of you.

We offer the tune by itself if you already have a device or the tune on their Ngauge as well as an SCTX4 if you prefer.

I have Rob Shoemaker's FF tune and was literally blown away at how much more fun E85 is. Now that it's getting cooler up here I'll switch over to 93, but during the hurricanes it was nice to pay $1.50 less per gallon!

Yea it's definitely strange, I have four stations within a 20mi radius.

Conoco $2.10
Gulf: $1.99
Exxon: $2.99
Shell : $2.85

Used to be cheap here in San Antonio but seems to be equal to regular now. When I didn't want it I swear it was 75 cents cheaper or so.
Either way I'm hopefully installing my tune Sunday

Why is it that no one has seemed to share data on how strained the injectors may be from E85? % duty cycle, etc.? All I heard from Lund is it's ok on stock injectors, stock engine with a CAI.

But I do not believe Shaun at AED will tune for FF unless you have upgraded injectors.

I've been running my Lund FF tune for about a year now and no issues thus far. But I am wondering just how close the injectors are to being maxed out.
