AGM Batteries?

My OEM battery finally left me stranded last year, so seven years of use…therefore I just replaced it with another one from Ford

funny thing, that original battery has enough oomph to run the winch on my trailer, but then again it has a solar charger

Was that an option or something, or only came with certain models? I don't think it was standard, but could be wrong. I replaced mine in my 2018 in Jan 2023 with a Motorcraft BAGM-96R. The original was most definitely not an AGM.

All redtops are AGM. I just sort of assumed all modern batteries are AGM these days.

Mine works fine, no issues.

BMS - Car on, not running, pull blinker 5 times, press brake 3 times, battery light should flash. Your owners manual also describes this process.

I used this today on my 2022 GT. It did the trick.
