Forscan setting for AGM Battery

I just replaced my battery and noticed forscan has a setting in the BCM. The default was Varta 60Ah 600CCA H5 Case. The battery I replaced with is a DieHard 96R-AGM.

There is an option for AGM 70Ah 600CCA H6 case. Should this be selected or just leave it be?

I left it the same, and also have a 96R AGM from Advanced Auto, but it was just before they switched to DieHard. Probably made by the same company (Clarios, which bought it from Johnson Controls). It's better to have the same specs (same Ah and CCAs) IMO. The only difference in charging between AGMs and wet cells, is the former doesn't like constant charging above 14.4 volts. But our cars never do that, so no worries.

As a final comment, since my car was almost a year old when I replaced the battery (based on build date), I did reset BMS with FORScan, and I suggest you do too. Hope this helps.

Bump.

This and a few other posts report no problems not changing battery type to AGM.

But that doesn't answer the question of is it better to change it or not?

For example, "no problem" doesn't tell if lifespan could be even longer if type changed to AGM.

Has anyone changed this ? I upgraded to a AGM battery with much higher CCA and the closest selection I could find in Forscan is this.
