I've been struggling with finding the right color to go on my Royal Crimson. I wonder what that green would look like. Anyone have any ideas?
I'd look at green, yellow, dark blue, or if you really want to go outside the box, purple might look great with Royal Crimson.

Thanks for the post. Almost any color looks great with the Blue. The green will definitely stand out. Blue was classy, red looked sporty, and yellow screams performance. I know people will probably not like the green, but.....

Magnetic car so I went with dark blue

I used the G2 paint. As you can see from the first pic it comes out smurf blue. Someone else on the forum mentioned they rattle canned over the smurf with the Duplicolor metal cast so I did the same.

Im not trying to make you feel bad, but that does not look like a quality job and I imagine its just as bad in person. Id remove them and tear em down to bring into a powder coater or automotive paint shop.

Anyways, my base calipers were powder coated red. When I went to the Brembos I had em painted body color with silver decals.

no bad feelings. Powder coating is the way I’m going to go. It was more or less me making it look decent when you’re looking at it from feet away. And it does. But up close you can see how a brushed application looks. And once I’d started I had to finish. I’m going to wait until I see someone selling a brembo kit locally and then buy it, have it coated and install. Then I’ll sell these for someone looking to do the same.

Yours look good. Good to see the pics with the wheels too bc they’re the ones I’m going with when I get a drag pack

The blue ones above my post are beautiful. I really like those a lot.

g2 isn't a bad kit really, its easier if its off the car I imagine. mine turned out good I feel. Just took a few hours of going around the table painting all the brakes every 20minutes.

I am very disappointed with the G2 kit. I had better results 20 years ago with a rattle can. Yes I prepped the hell outta my brakes (car only has 1700 miles anyway). I hate losing money. Probably just go get some VHT rattle paint today and paint over.

I just painted my calipers over the weekend using the G2 Kit, I thought it turned out pretty good. I purchased the optional spray bottle and it seemed to make the base coat look a lot better than when I tried with the brush. The spray can ran out pretty quick so i finished the next coats via brush. Just need to get a Brembo decal for it and it will be done.

Yes I bought good art paint brushes. I am just not a fan. From 10 ft I’m sure they look nice. I am such a perfectionist though. Oh well. I’ll decide today what I am doing about it.
