Any “thin” plastic you use to protect your nuts will get destroyed during the 150lb torquing.
Could go a few immature directions with that comment LOL

I guess worst case they don’t work and you have to return them. For $65 might be worth a shot 🤷‍♂️

Im pretty sure @50 Deep has a full short set of Ti lugs that work great on the R wheel. This truly is the best option.

I’m on the list for a set of the Ti nuts next time he does a run of them but so far haven’t gotten the call. I know it’s not something T keeps in stock. I imagine the inventory cost to have them sitting versus spoken for has something to do with it.

They’re pricey, but dang, it’s a purchase you will not regret.

Go full racecar and do studs and all. It’s the little things…

They do look nice, but I believe they have the same weaknesses as the standard Ford nuts ... :frown:

If I was going to invest in FP black lug nuts, I'd invest in four M-1012-MB sets. They were OEM on the Ford GT. The listing on the FP website explains that:

Ford Performance Parts Black Lug Nuts use Physical Vapor Deposition technology (PVD) which provides a scratch and wear resistance finish that ensures a perfect look for an extended period of time under intense use and provides surface wear resistance that cannot be provided by electroplating, anodizing or lacquer.

The description also includes this advice:

NOTE: Hand installation and removal with non-marring lug nut sockets is strongly recommended to prevent surface damage to the black lug nuts.
