Aftermarket Exhaust

Not saying the stock exhaust is bad at all, it does sound awesome in every way possible and mods please delete or move if this was already has been discussed, but who plans of modifying their exhaust when they get their 350 and what setup would you plan on using? Also do you think the aftermarket world can do something about the dual mode exhaust like Borla did for the C7? I think this is an excellent opportunity for FRPP to offer a sport exhaust that switches to touring when driving around in normal mode.

The only thing I would want to do is delete the resonator. I don't think it could sound any better with a totally different exhaust setup. Not worth the money to Change IMO.

Depending on when I get my car. I've already spoken with corsa a lie letting them use my car to make an exhaust. Love their system on my 2015 GT, so I can't see why not on the 350. Still up in the air about if I'd do headers or not, depends on sound and power gain.

Yes. They will have the car 2-3 weeks. It will be dyno'd at Roush/Yates before and after every change to verify the results. They are building a honest to goodness Tri-Y long tube header. Kooks was one of my sponsors on the race car. They do exceptional work. I can't wait to see how this system works.

Buying NON R tech pack. Exhaust sounds awesome on vids and I understand way better in person. I have no interest in, "upgrading/changing" exhaust in any way. This is the first car in the last 20 years I haven't changed exhaust. There are very precious mods that I plan on making for this car.


EDIT. As many of you know, I ultimately went back on this when magnaflow called me up and offered me a free axle back if I let them use my car for development purposes.

Tri-Y is what they FP engineers say and that's what I'm most interested in. Keep me posted or if I get my car first

Awesome! I'm guessing that you have a tuner standing by for you? HP Tuners already has the ECU cracked. So, who's tuning?
