When will we see/hear some aftermarket exhaust on the GT350 and GT350R?

Normally I'm all for mods but in this case, I'm not sure I would mess with perfection. I seriously think this exhaust is perfect as is. I *might* remove my resonators but that's it.

That stock exhaust is perfection.. Have the X pipe redone and that's it.

Personally I'd love to see and hear something from Akrapovic.

I wouldn't want to lose the dual exhaust modes

Not getting one but I agree, definitely would rather keep the stocker with dual modes. I've heard the stock setup multiple times in person and its loud enough, this is coming from a 23 yard old.

I have a feeling some of the exhaust companies will incorporate an exhaust valve in someway that could be hooked up similarly to the stock setup. Probably going to make a catback 1500+ but i'll be interested to see whats available.

I also want to hear LT headers/Catted and OR X and stock mufflers as well. Sounded damn good on the old GT500s

I'm installing full length headers and if the aftermarket dosent have them available to the consumer soon, I'll make my own. I've been thinking of a Tri Y step header from 304 stainless. Also a cat less mandrel bent 304 stainless exhaust and X pipe. 304 stainless mufflers and retain the active valves. My dad is in charge of a tube bending company in Toledo Ohio that makes Proto type and production exhaust and tube related industries. Roush offers the active exhaust valves.
Kooks had a set of headers on display at Sema and they called them Tri y. But they looked like more 4 into one from the pics. I'm thinking more of a traditional tri-y header 1-3/4 1-7/8 step.

I agree with how the Kook headers looked, but I think ultimate they got the definition of a Tri-Y when you look at where they merge. Equal length is the key here from a sound perspective I believe. Like on exotics

I don't think anyone is wanting it louder, I just want to hear a different sound. I'm still not sold on the exhaust note of the 'R', and I have heard it in person. I love the traditional V8 sound much better.

The unique sound of the voodoo is what makes the car. If I were to go with a traditional v8, I'd go get the new Camaro.
